August "You ready?" He asked shutting off the ignition to his car after pulling up the the hotel where Phil and Dream was staying.
After it rained last night and ruined their little picnic, August and Dream stayed up almost all night in his room talking about her situation. They even came to a conclusion that it was best for Dream to return to Phil and try to work things out.
Dream "Surprisingly, yea." She said letting out some air as she unbuckled and sat up in the passenger seat.
August "If you nat we ca jus try tomorrow." He said placing his hand back on his push to start button.
Dream "No, no trust me it's fine. You've done enough already."
August "Don't mention it."
Dream "No for real...you really really made me feel better. I thought you would be different, but last night,...last night you were such a gentleman when I needed it the most and I want to seriously thank you." She said looking his way to find him looking straight ahead, but just not at her.
August "Dream don't start wit al dat mushy shit, aight? Jus cuz a n*gga took care of ya don't mean shit. N*ggas supposed ta be takin care of da ladies." He said trying once again to brush her off and not get into how what she said really made him feel.
Dream "Well it meant a lot to me." She said looking his way.
August "Coo." He said giving her a glance.
Dream "Cool? That's it?" She asked attempting to punch his arm, but he blocked it.
August "Yea dats it wit ya abusive ass." He said chuckling. "What's da room numba up thea?"
Dream "1220, why?"
August "Nun. When you get up thea, leave da do unlocked aight?" He said getting into his serious mode pulling his hood over his head and leaning back in his seat.
Dream "Okkkk? Why?"
August "Cuz if you don't text me lettin me knoe dat you aight within 10 minutes of getting up thea, I'm cumin up." He said clinching his jaws in deep thought having an instant mood change to irritated.
Dream "August you don't have to, I'll be fine." She trying to reassure him even though She wasn't so sure herself.
August "I'm sho, but if you don't text me in 10 imma still be up thea do' unlocked or nat."
Dream "Awww Auggie, my new bestie." She said cooing while reaching over to kiss his cheek playfully causing August to wipe her kiss off in fake disgust. This caused Dream to show him middle finger and step out of the car to begin making her way to the hotel entrance since they parked down the block.
August quickly stepped out of the car and ran around the side grabbing her taking the umbrella from her since it was still raining, he placed her hands on his shoulders and pulled her into his chest for a hug.
