Pulling on my biker jacket on, I grabbed my keys stuffing them into my pocket. Heading over to the bed, I took one last look at Phil before I left to meet up with August for what has now become our new nightly routine. Almost every night I sneak out to meet up with him since there is no way I can see him in the day time.
Standing over Phil like this before sneaking out makes me feel guilty as ever, but August has become my happy place. When I'm with August I'm carefree and actually feel like an individual for the first time. He doesn't judge me or expect me to behave a certain way when I'm around him. He let me be me.
I know what y'all are thinking; August and I have something going on, but in actuality we don't. We just chill. August can get a bit playful at times but we're cool. Strictly friends.
