Professor "Legal clinics start at the end of this month so don't forget to enroll in your clinic of choice. Deadline is next week."

Student "Can we choose one off campus?" She raised her hand asking.

Professor "Of course. It's your last year so more options are available to you."

Student "Ok."

Professor "Ok then, I'll see you guys next week. I look forward to seeing your introductory writing samples on Monday. Enjoy your weekend everyone!"

With that said I closed my laptop and slid it in my medium LV Never full bag. I got up and exited the classroom like all of the other students around me. It's 1pm and I'm happy I'm out of school already.
Senior year means less classes and me getting out earlier but soon I know the clinics may account for some of that extra time.

I yawned almost forgetting to cover my mouth in the process causing the girl next to me to give me a nasty look.

Dream "Oops, sorry." I said giving off a quick embarrass smile. I've been so sleepy lately. I need vitamins or something.

After that awkward moment, I headed for the restroom to pee and freshen up as usual before heading home.

As soon as I exited the school and called an Uber, my phone vibrated. It was August! A smile instantly flashed across my face.

Dream "Hey babe." I blushed.

August "I like da sound a dat." He said causing me to blush some more.

August "Sup shawty?"

Dream "Nothing much. Just left school waiting for my Uber per usual."

August "Hmm."

Dream "Hmm what?" I asked knowing very well he was pissed off that Phil didn't buy me a car nor allowed me to drive his so I have to be taking Ubers every where I go. Mostly because Phil wanted to track my movements. August offered to pay for a personal driver to take me back and forth to school but I declined.

August "Nun."

Dream "You know I can't have you arrange a driver for me. Phil would notice that the Ubers stopped and I'm not ready for those questions just yet."

August "That's why yo ass shudda been hea."

Dream "I know but four months will pass by really quickly." I said trying to convince both him and myself. It's only been like two weeks since I left him and I'm already missing him like crazy.

August "So you really gon make a n*gga wait until da semester ova?"

Dream "Sorry." I pouted.

After I got back to Miami, August and I agreed that it was best for me to finish my first semester here then transfer to a law school in Atlanta. This will give us more time to find the perfect school for me and actually go through the transfer process plus get whatever I needed out of the house before breaking it off with Phil.

August wanted me to pack up and head to the A right away, but I can't do that since it would mess me up and I wouldn't be able to graduate on time. August agreed since Phil will be traveling the entire time and wasn't expected back in Miami until February, so it all works.

August "So wat you finna do fa ya birthday?"

Dream "Don't even mention that cause I feel old."

August "Wat chu talkin bout?"

Dream "Idk just been tired lately and Cardi's already planning a night of club hopping, but I don't feel like it. I may be young in age but I feel like an old lady these past couple of days." I laughed.
