Hug My Heart - Chapter 1 - The Beginning

Joey's P.O.V:

I can't believe another year has gone by so quickly! It's already time for VidCon again!

Me and Sawyer are planning on traveling together this year, it's much more convinient and much better for the enviroment. I glanced at my watch; 3:30pm. We have to check into our hotel at 5, leaving us with an hour and a half. It would take us maybe an hour to get there; depending on traffic, and we also might want to stop to get something to eat, so we should leave within the next 10 minutes. 

"SAWYER!" I called

"COMING!" He shouted back. 

Sawyer came down from his room no more then 30 seconds later, Followed by Hitch. "We should probably go now, it's 3:30 and there may be traffic or some stops we need to make." I tell him. He already knew how long it would take to get there from the previous year at VidCon. "You packed up?" "Yep all ready, you?" he asks. I nod in response. He runs upstairs to grab his stuff, mine is already near the door. "Let's-a-go!" I say like Mario exept in my high-voice.

We walked to the car and loaded our stuff in the trunk, then we got in and started the long drive. I pulled out my phone and started up Netflix. I chose to watch Totoro, you can never get tired of him! I was pulled out of my daze by the car parked and Sawyer getting out. I looked around, we were parked on a side street near some bushes behind a building, no where close to our hotel. I gave him a questioning look. "Bathroom break." he stated. "Use it while you can." I quickly paused my movie and got out for a bathroom break. Once I was done I got back in the car. Sawyer was already back, so once I was strapped up, we resumed our long journey.

My movie finished just as we were pulling into a parking spot at the hotel. Perfect timing. I checked the time; 4:55. We arrived just in the nick of time. We went to the desk and checked in. "Floor 3: Rooms 9a and 9b. Right next to eachother with a connecting door. Here's the key to that. Enjoy your stay!" Said the woman at the desk. "Thank you!" Sawyer and I both said in union. We got to our rooms and unpacked, then we met up to go get something to eat. We decided to just go to Whole Foods and pick something up to make. We grabbed some chicken, pasta, sauce, cheese, and rosemary. This is gonna be real good.

SHOOT! I forgot about my daily vlog! "Sawyer do you mind if I vlog?" I ask. "Nah no problem" he said with a swish of his hand. I pulled out my camera and started. "Well hello there everyone! Sawyer and I have checked into our hotel room already, and right now we are at Whole Foods pickin' up some goody-good-gumdrops for our hungry little bellies!" I said. "That's right." said Sawyer. "What do we got in here?" I said in my country accent. "Some chicken, pasta, sauce, cheese, and some spices!" Sawyer said like he was talking to 3 year olds. "Up in where?" I ask. "Up in here!" he said. I turned my camera off as we started walking to the line. We got up to the Cashier. When the total came up on the screen Sawyer and I both pulled out our wallets. We each payed for half the price.

Once we got back to the hotel Sawyer came into my room while we cooked some Chicken Pasta. I pulled out my camera again and continued the vlog. "So! We are back, and we are cooking what we just bought, and let me tell you does it ever smell good." I pointed the camera at the boiling pasta and the chicken being fried by Sawyer. "Sawyer and I are super excited about meeting some of you guys at VidCon tomorrow! Aren't we Sawyer?" I asked. "Yep! Can't wait to be mauled and molested by 12 year old girls!" We both laugh at what he said. "But no seriously guys we really are excited to meet you. Don't let Sawyer trick you guys." I said the last part a bit louder so Sawyer could hear me clearly. I turned off my camera and helped Sawyer finish dinner, once it was ready we put it together on our plates and I turned back on my camera. "OH MAH GOODNESS GRACIONIOUS! THIS LOOKS SO GOOD!" I said into the camera, and then I flashed it to Sawyer who was already a few scoops in and had a full mouth. He suddenly did something I did NOT expect. "Tastes good too!" with his full mouth and a drop of the sauce got on the camera lense. He immediately started hysterically laughing while my face was completely twisted in absoloute disgust. I flashed the camera to my disgusted face. "Look what he did to you guys he spat on you! Rude and disrespectful!" I said as I shut off the camera and started histerically laughing with him.

We finished our dinner, and Sawyer helped me clean up before going back to his room. I turned on my camera to end the vlog after cleaning the lense off of course, and said "Well, it's been a long day and I am a sleepy, sleepy boy, and tomorrow I'm meeting some of you guys! So I need my beaty sleep! May the odds be ever in your favour... goodbye!" I said as I covered the lense with my hand. I turned off my camera and set up my computer. I plugged my camera in and started editing the video. It only took me about 20 minutes, and as soon as I was done, I posted it. I then went into my bag and grabbed some pajamas and changed after grabbing everything out of my pockets, when I realised my phone wasn't there.
