Chapter 31

Right now I am trying to pack for our trip to Stanford California. I cant decide what all to take with me.

"Babe you know we only going for a weekend right."

"Yeah. Why ?"

"Why do you have over ten outfits ?"

"Because you never know if I have to change outfits, or if it rains, or if we go to an event. I have to be prepared for anything."

"I see that." Nathan said shaking his head

For the past week I've been studying my brains out. I plan on studying on the plane, when I'm their in California and on the plane ride back. I'm studying up until my exam day. I need to be valedictorian.

I was upstairs getting dressed with Amber while Lucas and Nathan was outside packing the bags in the car.

"I see you and my brother are getting back on good terms." I say looking at Amber

"Not really. We only talk to each other when necessary or something. It's weird though."

"How ?"

"Because now that me and him aren't together I don't know what to say and what not to say. When me and him was together I was honest with him and told him everything and how I felt. But now I feel like it's not my place to say anything to him or give my input."

"Input about what ?"

"About anything. "

"Even though you and my brother are no longer together you're still my bestfriend and will always be my bestfriend, so with that being said your input is always welcomed."

"Thanks." Amber said hugging me

"Will you girls hurry up so we can get to the airport before we miss our flight." Lucas said practically screaming his head off

"Don't get your boxers in a wad we are coming." I say yelling back

After our flight had got delayed we are finally loading up to get on the plane.

"Babe you have been studying since we left the house, give it a rest." Nathan said trying to take away my world societies book.

"Give it a rest ? Give it a rest ? Do you think Casey is giving it a rest ? No ! so no resting for me. "

"I don't know why you even wasted your breath, you know how bad she wants this and she's not going to stop until she gets it. So just let her be." Amber said to Nathan

So after a 4 hour flight we finally made it to our hotel in Stanford California. I'm loving this place already. I just love the atmosphere of it. Once I got all of my things inside of our hotel room I sat down and continue studying until someone came and closed my book.

"We should go out tonight, see the city and party." Amber said getting excited

"You know I can't do that."

"And why not ?"

"Because I have to study that's why."

"You've been studying for weeks you need a study break and you're getting one tonight. We're going out and you're going to have some serious fun and then continue studying tomorrow. How does that sound ?"

"It sounds good and all Amber but I just cant ."

"Look sis Amber is right. You need a study break."

"Babe you really do. And then you can start back were you left off tomorrow."

"Fine guys. I will go out with y'all for a little bit tonight and then no more getting on my nerves about me studying."

"Okay." Everybody said in unison

"Y'all promise ?" I say looking at my brother, bestfriend and boyfriend

"Yes." Everyone says in unison.

Everyone started getting ready for tonight we all decided to go to a club not too far from the hotel. I didn't even feel like partying I'm just going so everyone will stop giving me hell for studying so much. Don't they know how much I want this ? Guess not.

It is 10:30 and the boys are rushing up to hurry up because they claim it is taking us too long to get ready. I feel like it's not taking me and amber that long, it's just that the boys don't have to do as much and don't care about there appearance as much.

We get to the club and it is packed. People are everywhere. I look up and see a girl asks my brother to dance. I look at Amber and see her look a bit upset.

"I'm going to see if I can get a drink or get someone to buy me a drink." Amber said to me

"Okay, be careful."

I look at Nathan and see that he gives me a look telling me not to butt in and leave it alone.

"Babe I don't think this is a good idea, one of them is going to get hurt." I say to Nathan

"Babe you promised both of them that you would stay out they relationship."

"No I promised that I would try."

Nathan then straight faced me and then asked me to dance. We danced for 4 songs straight then went to sit down next to my brother cause our feet were starting to hurt. I looked at my brother and seen that he was staring at Amber talking to some dude.

"Jealous ?" I ask my brother

"Why would I be jealous ? Didn't you see all them girls I was dancing with."

"You didn't answer the question though."

"No I am not jealous. but I think I am going to like it up here."

"Me too. Did you see the size of that mall we rode by earlier."

"Of course that was one of the only things you noticed. "

My brother said laughing then it came to a end and I seen he got up and headed into Amber direction.

"Amber do not drink that !." Lucas said with some bass in his voice

I was getting worried because Amber didn't look like herself in fact she looked like she was on drugs or something.

"Why not ? You're just jealous that's all." Amber said a bit slurred

"I'm not jealous he's drugging you. He put something in your drink, you can't tell me you didn't see him do that or feel the least bit different."

"You're a liar Lucas just leave me alone and let me have fun." Amber said dismissing Lucas

"You heard her dude back off." The random guy said

Then I looked over and the guy started grabbing Amber pretty hard and then Lucas punched him in the face. I looked over at Amber to see she was passed out on the ground.

I started crying then Lucas threw the keys at Nathan and then Lucas picked up Amber and put her in the car. I hope my bestfriend is going to be okay.
