"What?!" Jennie shouted, looking at him and then attempting to open the door but like he stated, it was locked. "Don't you have the keys?"
"The locks are on a set time." Jaebum sighed as he couldn't believe he was locked in on his first day of work, with the girl who kicked him in the face earlier.
"You mean we're stuck in here? Can't you call the librarian?!" She exclaimed, impatiently.
"I am the librarian." He glared at her.
"You know who I'm talking about—"
"Like I said the locks are on a set time, that means the only way we're getting out before 6am is for the caretaker to come along." He explained to her as he went back to the main desk.
"No way! There's got to be another way!" Jennie couldn't believe her ears. "A master key—"
"Nope, we're here all night. Better let your dorm mates know." Jaebum was surprisingly calm in this situation as he opened the cupboard, the librarian had told him about, earlier.
"What about the power?" She asked, looking around the dark room.
"It's on a separate circuit, I think every faculty has one." Jaebum got out the only blanket and a torch.
"I can't believe this." She was about to throw a tantrum but by this time Jaebum had his head in his book and was ignoring her.
Jennie walked towards him and took the seat opposite him. Suddenly her phone began to ring.
"Jendeuk! Where are you? We've been waiting half an hour for you!" Jisoo exclaimed as she sat at the ddeokbokki place that Blackpink regularly went to.
"I've been locked in the school library." Jennie sighed as Jisoo laughed.
"You're kidding right?" Lisa and Rosè also giggled.
"No I'm being serious...I'm stuck until 6am." Jennie told them.
"What about roll call?!" Jisoo asked, worriedly. They had to be in their dorms by 9pm. "Are you alone?"
"No there's this guy too." Jennie rolled her eyes as Jaebum snickered.
"Ooh, who is it?" Jisoo giggled.
"Nobody, just cover for me if I don't somehow get out." She told her, firmly over the phone.
"Don't worry. We've got your back!" Jisoo exclaimed. "Keep us updated, so we know you're alive."
"My phone might die, but I'll try." Jennie told her as they cut off, simultaneously.
Jaebum glanced at Jennie who looked around and shuddered. He immediately got out his phone and rang Jackson, who not to any surprise, didn't pick up. Jinyoung however did.
"Nae?" Jinyoung sighed, picking up. "No I'm not covering for you."
"How did you know?" Jaebum was baffled.
"You never ring me at this time unless you're out." Jinyoung put his book down and looked at Mark who was texting away on his phone. "Ask someone else—"
"Ya!" Jaebum exclaimed into his phone as Jinyoung cut off. He officially hated his group of 6 useless friends.
His phone was also dying, like Jennie's.
"Is there any source of power?" She peered around yet again.
He got up and looked in the cupboard to find a power bank.
