Quickly, Jaebum pulled Jennie even close to him, shielding her from the crystals on the chandelier, that crashed where Jennie was previously standing.
Jisoo screamed, as she thought the chandelier had collapsed right on top of Jennie and saw blood dripping.
It didn't take long for her mother and his manager to come running up the stairs to find them.
They all quickly ran up to Jaebum and Jennie but stopped as there was so much glass around them.
"Are you both okay?!" Jennies mom cried as Jennie tried to moved her hand.
"Jaebum..." Jennie said, quietly as he looked up at her. His arms still over her head.
Some of the workers came in with their builder boots and quickly ran through the glass to get to them.
"Jaebum, are you okay?" They asked him as one of them helped him up, whilst the other one helped Jennie up.
"I'm fine." Jaebum pushed his co workers out of the way and began to walk by himself, towards the door.
Meanwhile, Jennie's mom quickly grabbed Jennie to make sure she was fine but she had blood running down her face.
"Jennie, you're bleeding!" Her Mother cried as she tried to look for the source but it was just blood, there wasn't any.
Jisoo gasped as she looked at Jaebum walking towards her.
"Jaebum—"
"Ya, Jaebum! Your hand!" His manager quickly ran up to him to stop him from using his hand.
Jaebum hadn't noticed anything, in fact due to the anxiety, he hadn't felt the shard of glass that had gone straight through his hand, when protecting Jennie's head.
"It's fine." He said as he tried to pull it out but Jisoo quickly stopped him.
"You'll lose your hand if you do that!" His manager grabbed his other hand.
"Lets take you both to the hospital."
"Omma...I'm fine—"
"No you're not, he's got a shard straight through his hand, god knows what's happened to you!"
Jaebum was surprisingly calm, he sat in passenger seat of his managers pickup truck whilst Jennie, her mom and Jisoo sat at the back.
"What happened?! You couldn't killed her!" His manager shouted at Jaebum. "I could fire you right on the spot!"
"Ask her." Jaebum simply looked at Jennie through the rear view mirror.
"Jennie...what happened?" Her mom whispered, still holding her hand tightly.
"T-The ladder collapsed...he was hanging from the chandelier and I quickly grabbed him." Was all Jennie could recall.
"And why did the ladder collapse?" His manager looked straight at Jaebum as they stopped at the traffic lights.
"Ask her again." Jaebum looked down at his hand, that was covered by a cloth to stop some of the bleeding.
"How can you ask my daughter how the ladder collapsed when you're the one who was on it?!" Jennie's mom exclaimed, angrily.
"Sorry, it was my fault, I asked her to get screwdriver...when I should've got one before I went up." Jaebum apologised as Jennie raised an eyebrow but stayed silent.
They quickly when into the emergency room, the nurses came up to them.
"He's got a glass shard through his hand." Said his manager for him.
