There was no actual words that were said before Jennie closed the door, as Skyler quickly broke off her make out session with her ex girlfriend and fixed her dress.
"What happened?" Asked Jaebum as he didn't see anything.
"Nothing, there was some people in there."
"You look so shaken up? Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine...let's just go back, the countdowns about to happen." Jennie tried to brush it off.
"3,2,1! HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
"Um, happy new year..." Jaebum said as he kissed Jennie's cheek before she went red again and then looked at her dress.
"Thanks, but it's not going to get the wine stain out of this Chanel dress is it?" Jennie simply smirked as she tried to get the image of Skyler making out with a girl out of her head.
"I'm sorry...I'll pay for the dry cleaning—" Jaebum exclaimed as Jennie laughed and shook her head.
"Don't be silly, I'm kidding..." She smiled as she rubbed his arm, they both stared at each other as she didn't know how to feel about the rumours she had heard about Skyler and Jaebum. As they did so, a tipsy Nayeon came along.
"How are my favourite couple—ya Jendeuk...what happened to your dress?" Nayeon said quite drunkenly.
"A certain someone spilt wine on it..." Jennie side eyed Jaebum as she also noticed Skyler and Sam walk out onto the balcony together.
Skyler made eye contact with Jennie, who quickly looked away, causing Nayeon to turn around and call them over.
"Ya, where were you two?!" Nayeon exclaimed as she put her arms around Skyler.
"Just went to the bathroom...did we miss anything?" Asked Skyler as she looked at both Jaebum and Jennie, acting as if nothing had happened.
"You missed the whole new year countdown and everything!" Nayeon sighed as she looked at them and noticed how awkward it was. "Why are you all being so awkward?!"
Jaebum started laughing a little before shaking his head and just shrugging. "We're not...are we?"
"Whatever..." Nayeon left to go find her boyfriend, leaving the four of them to their own devices.
"We're going on the dance floor, wanna come?" Skyler did her best to get rid of the awkwardness but Jennie kindly refused and grabbed another glass of wine.
The two of them got on the dance floor giving them a chance to discuss what had just happened.
"I told you to lock that door...now look." Skyler sighed.
"Cmon, they'll get over it." Sam simply shrugged and started dancing to the rhythm.
"Did you not see how awkward that was? They're like my only friends!"
"If they can't get over you making out with another woman then you need new friends..." Sam simply said as they both turned to look at Jaebum and Jennie who were talking away.
"I'm going to go join Lisa and Rosè..." Jennie placed down her empty glass and left Jaebum to go join her girls.
"Hey, where have you been?!" Lisa put her arms around Jennie waist and started dancing with her.
"Just talking to Jaebum..." For now Jennie was going to keep what she saw to herself and she was hoping Jaebum would do the same, for the sake of Skyler.
"Have you guys sorted things out? Rosè told me you weren't really on good terms?" Lisa said to Jennie, who shrugged and then nodded.
"I guess...yeah."
