"What do you mean?!" Jaebum asked, confused.

"It's your camera. I've already got like five." She smiled as he shook his head.

"I'm not accepting a $500 camera. It's too much." He tried to hand it back to her.

"It's a present."

"It's not my birthday."

"It's a thank you gift."

"I didn't do anything."

"You saved my life and an $500 camera is nothing compared to that." Jennie told him as he shook his head.

"Jennie, you—"

"I'm getting late, bye!" She quickly ran off before he could go after her.

Sighing, Jaebum ended up going over to see how Seulgi was doing and texted her.

Jaebum - Are you on break yet?

🐻 - In five minutes, why?

Jaebum - mind if I come have lunch with you?

🐻 - Of course not!

Jaebum - See you there!

He got on the train to Hongdae, where Seulgi worked at that Italian restaurant, Jennie's mom took him to. When he got there, he saw her waiting on the bench outside with her waitress uniform on.

"Anyeong!" He kissed her cheek as he took a seat next to her.

"How was the photography meeting?" Seulgi asked as she noticed the expensive looking gift bag.

"It was fine, just them telling us what it's about, you know the usual..." Jaebum shrugged as Seulgi raised an eyebrow.

"Looks like you went camera shopping?" She smirked as he rolled his eyes. "What's wrong?"

"Jennie took me to this expensive camera shop and bought this $500 one that I thought was for herself—"

"But she gave it you?" Seulgi asked as she blinked a couple of times.

"Yeah...I don't get her at all, one day she'll be shouting and being all cold and the next she'll be gifting me with something worth more than my months worth of rent." He sighed as Seulgi laughed.

"That's totally Jennie Kim, she has her moments...but I do understand, a $500 camera is crazy." Seulgi nodded as he looked at the time.

"How long is your break?" He asked.

"Twenty minutes, do you want to go for coffee?" She asked as she pointed to the cafe opposite.

They sat down with their coffees and talked about how Seulgi's morning went before finishing up and walking her back to the restaurant.

"Are you sure you don't want me to pick you up later?" He asked as she shook her head.

"It's totally fine." Smiled Seulgi. "If you want, I could come over?"

"To my dorm?"

"Yeah! We could watch a movie or something." Seulgi insisted as he nodded.

"Sure, I'll see you later." Jaebum kissed Seulgi on the cheek as she smiled and waved as he left. "Bye!"

Jaebum walked away, he went to get a bus home, so he could clean his room and let Jackson know Seulgi was coming over.

"So, did Jaebum-ssi not want to come?" Yeri asked Jennie as they walked together to the restaurant.
