"You have the right to remain silent and anything you say can be used against you." The police officer said as Jennie simply blinked and stared at Sulli.
"Why is she being arrested?" Jaebum asked for her.
"For aggravated assault against a member of staff." The other police officer said as they put Jennie in handcuffs before she sighed.
"Can I call my lawyer?"
"When we get to the station."
To Sulli's surprise, Jennie did not refuse and quietly took a seat in the police car whilst she was escorted in her own.
Jaebum didn't know what to do, he needed to go with her but he also needed to tell someone who Jennie was more closer to than him.
Jennie noticed Jaebum walk away, sighing to herself, knowing she should've realised he would've saved his own ass and simply sat there in the car, waiting to be taken to the station.
On the other hand, Jaebum had bumped into Seulgi who smiled at him but he simply ignored her and ran right past, towards Nayeon who was talking to Jeongyeon.
"You were there last night right?!" He exclaimed as Nayeon jumped, startled by his sudden appearance.
"At the party, yes? Why what's wrong?"
"Unnie, they arrested Jennie!" Exclaimed Yeri as she ran up to them also.
"Because of last night?!" Nayeon exclaimed as Jaebum sighed and grabbed Nayeon's arm.
"We need to go to the station—"
The two of them ran past everyone in the corridor and saw Shownu at the bike stands.
"Ya Hyung, can we borrow your bike?!"
"Why?" Shownu looked at them, blinking.
"It's an emergency."
"Well at least wear your helmets." He handed them both a helmet as they put it on and left in a hurry.
"Do you know Jennie's lawyer?" He asked as Nayeon thought for a minute and then nodded as she gripped onto him from the back of the bike.
"She's a lawyer from the Hyun law group but I don't know her name..." Nayeon sighed as she thought and thought to see if she knew her name but stopped as they reached the station pretty quickly.
"Let's go." Jaebum put the bike against the wall of the station and ran inside as he noticed Jennie sat there with a pretty woman in a suit next to her.
"Jenndeukie—" Nayeon's voice traced away as she stopped to stare at the woman and then grabbed Jaebum's sleeve. "We should leave."
"Wae?" He asked.
"Because she'll be fine without us."
"Is that her lawyer?" The two of them whispered to each other in the corridor, overlooking the room.
"Yeah."
"Well we should at least hear what they're saying." Jaebum's stayed outside the room, eavesdropping.
"You see, Ms Choi over here does not bare any evidence to allow you to handcuff my client. An evidence of one eyewitness does not account." Her lawyer said as she looked towards Jaebum's direction. "If that was the case, I have two eye-witnesses to counter argue this accusation. Stop wasting the time of the police and just handle such a petty matter privately."
The woman looked at Sulli as the police officer had no choice but to uncuff Jennie and let her go.
"Without official evidence, we're not allowed to arrest Ms Kim here." The officer explained to Sulli who looked furious.
