Finals week is here and everyone has been studying their butts off. Well almost everybody. We have a study group going on Scorpius and Austin are helping us a bit while studying themselves because they are a year older and they more or less know exactly whats going to be on the exam (Advantages of having a Brother and a Boyfriend that are older haha), and the rest of us are helping each other with areas that the others struggle in. For example, I'm really good in Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts so I'm helping the others in those areas.
All of the first year exams are tomorrow(Monday), Second years on Tuesday, Third years on Wednesday, Fourth years on Thursday and the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh years have been taking exams since last Monday. I'm so happy that First and Third year exams are done by Wednesday, so then we aren't as stressed for the rest of the week like Teddy and Victoire, who hasn't taken their noses out of their books since Quidditch Season ended.
Before we knew it, it was almost 12:00am and our exams start at 8:00am tomorrow morning. I kissed Austin goodnight and the girls and I went to our dormitory where we instantly fell asleep.
**The next morning**
I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off at 6:30, (I don't like to be late- for anything). So I got up and quietly made my way toward the bathroom, so I wouldn't wake the other girls. When I walked into the bathroom, I heard someone crying. I called, "Hello, who's here? Are you alright?". The girl just continued to cry so I followed the sound to a stall door. I knocked, "Are you Okay?" I asked, "Is there anything I can do?"
Then the stall door opened and Victoire came out. "Oh hi G-Gel-ina" she said through sobs, "I th-thought I w-was he-here a-lone."
"Victoire, are you okay"
"No, m-my Gr-Grandpa Delacour just p-passed away" she cried tears pouring from her eyes like miniature waterfalls. The only thing I could think to do was just sit there and hug her until she calmed down. Then Lily walked in.
"Lily, can you try to get a hold of Teddy and tell him to meet us in the common room." I asked her.
"Of course, meet us there." then she left again.
**Common Room**
After I convinced Victoire to come down to the common room, I helped her over to the couch where Teddy was already waiting
"Vic, what's wrong? Is there anything I can do?" Teddy asked, hugging Victoire, but she just continued to cry into his shoulder. "Gelina, do you know why Victoire is so upset?" he asked me.
"She told me that her Grandpa Delacour had just passed away. I think all she needs is someone to be there for her." I told him.
"Thanks Gelina." He then looks Victoire in the eyes and says, "Don't worry about the finals. I will go ad talk to Headmisstress McGonagall after breakfast, to see if we can arrange something for us so we can be with your family." Victoire just nodded and nuzzled into Teddy's shoulder and started to calm down. I decided she would be fine so I went upstairs to continue getting ready to take my exams.
After I got ready I double checked my exam schedule:
8:00-9:00--Defense Against the Dark Arts
9:00-9:30--Study Break
9:30-10:30--Potions
10:30-11:00--Study Break
11:00-12:00--Charms
12:00-1:00--Lunch
1:00-2:00--History of Magic
2:00-2:30--Study Break
2:30-3:30--Transfiguration
3:30-4:00--Study Break
4:00-5:00--Herbology
COMPLETE
"Well it's now or never" I said to myself and walked out of the common room to start finals.
**Time jump to end of First year exams**
Finally my exams are done, but Austin and Scorpius have their exams tomorrow. After that we are all free to relax for the rest of the week. I can't believe that school is over at the end of the week. I'm just going to miss everyone over the summer, but I'm not going to think about that now because we still have this week to hang out and relax.
After Dinner the girls and I went up to the common room to play chess, and some muggle card games that Cynthia taught us to play like Crazy 8's, Liar Liar, and Thousands, while the boys were studying for their exams tomorrow. We also talked about how our exams went. We didn't want to talk about it at Dinner because we didn't want to freak out the boys.
The night went by pretty quickly. Before we knew it, it was 9:30pm so we decided to get ready for bed.
