Harry Potter: The Next Generation

The final week (Year 1)

**two days later.....morning**

It felt good to sleep in the last couple days after waking up early everyday for classes. I woke up around 10:00, and decided to wait in the common room for the rest of the girls to wake up and get dressed, so we could all go down to the Great Hall together.

The rest of the girls were up and dressed by around 11:30, and we went down for lunch. We decided that we would sit away from the boys, so we wouldn't distract them from their studies.

We met Kim down in the Entrance Hall as she was about to enter the Great Hall.

"Hey, Kim!" I said

"Hey!"

We told Kim our plan and we asked her to sit with us at the end of Gryffindor table so we could eat and chat without distracting the boys who were sitting at the front of the Gryffindor table. We decided that after lunch we would head to the Black Lake to talk about the book series that Cynthia got us into reading. It's called the Percy Jackson Series.

**The Black Lake**

The girls and I sat at the edge of the Black Lake talking about the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series and about what series we should read next.

"I really like the Percy Jackson series, I think we should read the Heroes of Olympus series next" Cynthia suggested.

"What's it about?" I asked.

"It's more or less a continuation of the Percy Jackson series only it's not just Greek mythology you learn about, it's also Roman mythology too. And you get to meet some awesome new characters." she explained with a smile.

We all decided that, that was a great idea because I really want to find out what's next for Percy and Annabeth.

Before we knew it, it was 5:00 and the boys were coming to let us know that Dinner was starting in the Great Hall, and that we should head back. So we gathered our novels and headed to eat.

**The Great Hall**

"So guys, how was your exams?" Kim asked

"They were okay, I guess." Scorpius replied.

"You guess" I said

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that I did poorly on my Herbology exam." Scorpius said.

"Don't get too stressed out over it Scorpius, I'm sure you did fine." Kim said giving him a comforting hug.

Dinner went by pretty quickly, so we all decided to head outside to have a quick game of Gobstones before it became too dark to play.

We played a 3 on 3 game girls against boys. Cynthia decided to sit out and watch since she still didn't really understand the game yet. So it was me, Kim, and Leah, against Scorpius, Austin and Hugo. Girls won of course. Hahaha, just kidding that was actually the first game we won against the boys.

We then decided to head back inside because it was getting dark. As we walked into the Entrance Hall, a girl from Ravenclaw I think her name is Daphne Vincent, collapsed and hit her head. Austin ran over to see if she is okay. He then called me over, "Gelina go find Headmistress McGonagall and bring her to the Hospital Wing. Scorpuis and I will bring Daphne there to Madam Pomfrey.

I ran off to find Headmistress McGonagall to tell her about Daphne, and of course I found her in her office. "Headmistress" I said "Daphne Vincent from Ravenclaw just passed out in the Entrance Hall. My brother and Austin are taking her to the Hospital Wing, they told me to come find you."

"Than you Miss Malfoy, I'll head over there now, and can you please find Professor Flitwick and let him know as well."

"Of course Headmistress."
