James was quickly by my side. He took Xavier by surprise and pushed him down. Michael was instantly on James, holding him back.

"What the fuck did you do?!" James' face was turning red from fury.

"Calm down, James," said Michael. He was Xavier's puppet. Xavier stood up suddenly. His fist knocked James out of Michael's grip. I gasped and found myself leaping to attack Xavier. I grabbed for Xavier trying to push him back away from James. But Xavier wouldn't budge. Michael quickly came and grabbed me. His arms circled around me. Locking me into his tight grip. His strength overpowered my own. I struggled against him.

"Don't ever get near my mate again," Xavier's voice was threatening. He hovered over James who laid on the ground with a bloody face. James simply glared back at him. I could see he was trying hard not to fight back.

"Please stop, Luna," Michael whispered in my ear and I just glared back at him. Suddenly I banged my head back right into Michael's face. This caught him by surprise as he yelped. His hands instinctively went to his bloody broken nose.

I took this opportunity and ran for James. But my body was stopped by another pair of arms grabbing a hold of me. It was Xavier's.

"What the hell are you talking about?!" James asked as he started to get up. The question seemed to knock Xavier out of his haze. He had forgotten that James was human. He had no knowledge of werewolves or so he thought.

I pushed Xavier away who seemed to be battling for control with his wolf. I helped James up and as soon as our hands touched Xavier let out a loud growl of possessiveness. Michael placed his hand on his shoulder to calm him down. It worked. But Xavier still stared threateningly at James.

"Let's get out of here," James said as he wiped the blood off of his face. I held my hand out to help James walk. But he shook his head. Instead he limped to our jeep. I got in the driver seat and drove away. Leaving a glaring Xavier in the parking lot.

"What the fuck has happened?" James asked when we were a safe distance from the bowling ally.

"He frickin marked me," my hands gripped the steering wheel as anger rushed through me.

"What the fuck?" James looked at me in full surprise, "That asshole."

"I tried to reject him, but he didn't let me. I don't know what the hell to do. It's making me want to turn around and go back to him." I said pointing at my neck.

"You're screwed," James said suddenly laughing like a maniac, "It was always me who got us in trouble. But now the tables have turned."

I gave him a sour look, "Nick is going to kill me."

We arrived home. I noticed a pair of gleaming yellow eyes in the woods next to my house. I was certain it was one of Xavier's wolves.

James and I walked inside to see Nick playing video games.

"What's that smell?" Nick said as the smell of Xavier's blood hit him. The blood from the shattering window was all over me. He turned around and immediately frowned at the site of us. I had blood all down the left side of my body. James had a bloody face.

"What did y'all do now?" Nick quickly got up and examined his little brothers face. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a wet cloth. I wiped my neck. The mark stung the more I touch it.

"The alpha," I said as Nick rushed to the first aide kit, "He marked me."

"He what?!" Nick was caught completely by surprise. I never did tell him about Xavier.

"He fucking marked her," James' fist clenched in anger, "We have to kill him."

"No, we can't kill him," Nick was always the voice of reason.

"I don't know what to do,"I said to Nick. Nick started to stitch up James' face.

"What can you do," Nick said in response," He fucking owns you now."

"No he doesn't! "James said.

"What can we do?" Nick continued, "He is an alpha with a huge pack. We run. He follows. We fight. He kills us."

"Can't the mark go away?" I said my voice pleading. I would never allow myself to be owned.

"I don't know," Nick said, "I have never heard of someone reversing it. Does he even know what you are?"

I frowned, "No." I should of told him that I was a vampire. Then he would of never wanted me.

"Let me make contact with an old friend. He has more knowledge of these wolf things then I do," James and I nodded our heads. This was so like Nick to fix our mistakes.

"Stay away from him, Clara," Nick said, "The bond will only get stronger if you're by him."

"Looks like you're on house arrest," James said almost teasingly.
