ALANA
One year after Calum and Alana met
When I moved to Australia, all I wanted is to go back home. I hated it here, I was bullied for being different, I was called nasty names and beaten, but things got so much better with Calum, and i can't thank anyone enough for him, our first date was something I could never forget.
~FLASHBACK~
My phone vibrated on my maple wood table, I looked over to see an unknown number flash across the screen, and I hoped it was Calum, the boy from the park. Swiping across I answered politely, crossing my fingers.
"Alana, hi, uhh I-it's Calum, the guy you thought was gay. How are you?"
I giggled and had a small party in my head, "I'm good. How're you?"
He chuckled nervously, "to be honest I'm kinda freaking out. See, there's this beautiful Austrian girl with gorgeous long red hair that I wanna ask out but she's way out of my luge and I'm worried she'll turn me down."
A smile spread across my face and I couldn't help but laugh, "you, Calum hood, are one smooth fella."
He laughed, "it wasn't too corny?"
"No, not at all,"
"So, what do ya say? Will you go out with me?"
"Of course. When and where?"
"Well, I was thinking maybe Sunday? If that's okay with you? I can come pick you up if you'd like."
"Sunday sounds wonderful."
Sunday rolled around and I stood on my porch steps, fiddling with the sleeve hems of my black shirt as my burgundy skirt swayed around my thighs in the autumn wind. Calum's car pulled up and he stepped out, "holy wow," he said, taking my hand and leading me to his car
"What?" I said, looking at him
"I just forgot how beautiful you are." He smiled and opened the door for me.
"So, where are we off to?"
"You'll see."

"I can't believe you made me go on that horrendous ride! I swear I nearly peed myself, twice!"
Calum laughed and wrapped his arms around me, "Awh princess, I'm sorryyyyyyyyy. It was fun though! Admit it!"
I giggled, "yeah okay, maybe a little bit."
He smiled, "so, has it been a successful date?"
I nodded, "yes."
"Would you go out with me again?"
"Absolutely"
And with that he stepped forward and pressed his lips against mine.
Guys it's 2am and I just finished writing this looool I'm so sorry for being bad at updating.
