37- I love both of you part 1

{Mae}

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Mae, happy birthday to you!" My little sister Jenna sung, holding a wrapped box in her hand.

My mum clapped and smiled down at me, as I was still in bed. Jenna handed me the box and I grabbed it smiling at her gratefully. Jenna had just recently turned 12 and I unfortunately missed her birthday, so I was surprised that she'd gotten me something.

I opened the wrapping and found myself looking down at a small blue box, the brand Butterfly Silver imprinted on it. I opened the box and looked down at a gold chain, a small treble clef charm hanging from it. "Awwww JennieBear!" I cooed, grabbing her and pulling her down onto my bed, giving her a hug.

I covered her in kisses, "mum, mum tell her to stop!" She wined, trying to squirm out of my grip.

Mum just laughed, but told me to stop soon after. There was a knock on the door, and Jenna got up, "I'll get it!" She yelled already out of the room.

I laughed and got out of bed, stretching. My mum came and gave me a hug, "happy birthday gorgeous girl. I'm glad your home."

I hugged back, "I am too mum."

We stayed like that until we heard a worried call from downstairs, "Maeeee!"

I jogged downstairs with mum behind me, "what's wrong squirrel?" I asked, walking over to my sister who was looking at the door, slightly scared.

I walked up behind her and looked outside to see what she was looking at.

My eyes met with four faces that were unmistakably the boys.

All with big grins on their faces, they all screamed happy birthday. Calum lifted something up and I felt cold water spray all over me.

I screamed and moved, the water following after me. When it stopped I turned to Calum and saw a water gun in his hand. It was silent for a minute, before Luke pulled a party popper, the colourful streamers landing on Ashton's head. "CALUM THOMAS HOOD YOU'D BETTER RUN BEFORE I KILL YOU" I yelled, not able to hide the smile that spread across my face.

He laughed and hid behind Michael, who I hadn't noticed earlier. I began to run and get Calum but was stopped by Michael, who grabbed my waist and pressed his lips to mine, rather unexpectedly may I add.

When i pulled away He smiled, "happy birthday babe."

Behind me someone cleared their throat. I turned to see my mother standing with her arms crossed over her chest.
See my mum was the kind of woman that didn't really enjoy seeing me kiss boys with colourful hair and piercings. She also probably didn't enjoy that fact that she hadn't known anything about Michael and I before now.

"And who are these boy may I ask Maelen?" My mother asked sternly.

"Ha Maelen! Oh my god is that your full name!" Cal laughed, causing me to giggle a little.

"Shut up Calum!" I half yelled.

I turned back to my mother, "mum, this is Calum, Ashton, Luke and uh and Michael. You've met them before, they stayed at Georgia's last holidays."

"Really?"

"Yes," Ashton said quickly, "I'm Georgia's boyfriend. All of us boy attend the. Same school as the girl. Luke and Tilly are dating, as are Michael and Mae. Now I know Michael doesn't look like the sharpest tool in the shed but he's actually not that bad."

"And him?" Mum asked, eyeing Calum.

"Oh yeah, sorry about him, he's just like um a uh-" Luke whispered something to Ashton, "seventh wheel. Wait what?"

"Seventh wheel?!" Calum exclaimed, obviously hurt.

"No I didn't mean it like that, I was just trying to help Mae and Luke jus-"

"Is that all I am. A seventh wheel, am I not part of this band to!" Calum yelled at Ashton.

"Calum I didn't-"

"You know what, I don't care anymore! At least I know your girlfriend trusts me more then what she trusts you!"

"What?!" Ashton yelled. By now my mother had given up and walked into the kitchen.

"Don't play dumb, I knew you were awake when she came to me crying, the day we went to their show."

"What do you know Calum." Ashton said in a warning tone.

"Only something she doesn't want you to know about." He smirked.

"Calum!" I exclaimed, knowing that if Ashton found out Georgia'd be hurt.

Ashton looked between Cal and I before turning and running in the direction of Georgia's house.

"Fuck." Calum mumbled before running after Ashton.

"Wait, what's wrong with Georgia?" Michael asked.

"Nothing, I'll explain later." I said pulling the two after me.

{Georgia}

I was pulling on a shirt when my door burst open. I screamed and saw Ashton standing in the doorway, Calum ran in after him.

"Georgia I'm sorry I didn't mean to, I was just upset and I-" Ashton put his hand over Calum's mouth and turned to me.

"What does he know?"

I looked at both of the boys, shocked and scared. "I don't kn-"

"Calum get out." Ashton said removing his hand from the other boys mouth.

Calum gave me a worried and guilty look before leaving the room. Ashton shut the door and grabbed my shoulders, "please, please tell me."
