The bike came to a smooth stop as they approached a run-down building, its exterior cloaked in an abundance of green. Vines, thick with life, crept through the windows, their tendrils grasping at whatever they could. The building looked ancient, a forgotten relic overtaken by nature, as dirt and dust had aged the structure into a blend of brown and green. Harley hopped off the bike, her hair a wild mess, strands of blonde escaping their hold, whipped loose by the wind.

The door to the building was covered in vines, with a large flytrap standing sentinel, a bizarre sort of guard for Ivy's lair. Greyson offered Harley anything she might need, but she waved him off, eager to see her friend.

"Hi, Doris!" she called to the plant as she approached, a grin tugging at her lips. The flytrap wiggled in response, sensing her presence. It sent a message to Poison Ivy that Harley had arrived, and the vines blocking the door began to shift, opening the way for her.

Harley skipped inside once the door cleared, her arms swinging cheerfully as she took in the familiar sights. The room was as beautiful as ever, plants growing in every corner, winding their way around the space with a sort of ordered chaos. The flora seemed to care for itself, with vines wrapping and weaving around one another to make space. Harley waved at the plants as she passed, each one a friendly face, each one a reminder of the countless times Ivy had introduced them to her.

"Harley!" Poison Ivy's soft, melodious voice called out. Harley looked up and saw Ivy at the bottom of the stairs, arms open for a hug.

"What a delight," Ivy purred, her smile laced with that signature poison Harley adored. Harley grinned back and eagerly accepted the embrace.

Once the hug broke, Ivy pulled back slightly, her eyes scanning Harley's face. "Oh dear, what happened to your face?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. She gently cupped Harley's bruised cheeks, her fingers brushing over the swollen marks.

"Did Joker do this?" Ivy's tone sharpened, her gaze darkening as her fury simmered just beneath the surface. Harley nodded, a small, almost imperceptible gesture. She didn't mind the bruises too much—getting beat up was just part of the deal sometimes—but being humiliated in public? That hurt.

Ivy's anger flared, and Harley could feel the tension rise as vines began to twitch behind her friend, rising up like a protective army.

"Ivy, it's fine," Harley muttered, trying to calm her down. She avoided Ivy's gaze, uncomfortable with how angry she was. Ivy wasn't the type to tolerate anyone hurting her friends, especially not Harley.

Ivy growled under her breath, the vines now dangerously twisting around her, reacting to her fury. But Harley's reassurance seemed to settle her, even if it didn't quell the anger fully. Ivy huffed, but she didn't press the issue further.

As the night wore on, the two women spent hours catching up, their laughter filling the room as they brainstormed wild and maniacal plans. Ideas for chaos, for fun, for revenge. Poison Ivy, always one for revenge, suggested they take a little payback on the Joker. Harley hesitated, but the thought of it seemed to spark something in her.

"It'd have to be careful," Harley said, a playful glint in her eyes. "You know—expertly planned."

Ivy smiled, pleased by Harley's response. She could see that Harley was feeling better, her spirits lifting after a day of emotional turmoil. The two continued to plot, their laughter only growing more excited as the hours ticked by.

Finally, the clock struck eleven, and the girls knew it was time for their night out. They were ready—ready for whatever mischief Gotham had to offer, ready to enjoy the freedom of being themselves. Tonight, nothing could stop them.
