The Shooting Star

Chapter 2

Daniella Collins, is a star in the sky. She is adventurous, fun and an extrovert. She likes travelling and exploring new places and most importantly she likes helping people. As a star you just don't travel and come out only at night. The star shines to move the darkness away. The star is the light to the darkness. She can change forms, from a star to a human. When she goes to the earth she takes a form of a human. She is the favorite of the moon and the sun and most importantly the master who created all of them. She had never disobeyed any of the elders, never broke a rule. She enjoys her life as well as follow the rules that is given to her and the other star until one day when another star came to her - Skylar. Daniella doesn't know what to call Skylar....  Her friend? All she knows that Skylar have a very different point of view regarding that. Skylar looks at Daniella as a rival because she is loved by everyone.  From the other stars, to the master. 

"Daniella, you heard the news?" Skylar asked innocently.

"what is it about? " Daniella questioned. 

" Little Jasmine is having trouble at the place she just moved"

"what?"

" They say that she is in need of help... Kind of like an emergency" 

"Does Master know about this? "

" Of course, that's why he had told me to ask you if you can help Jasmine"

"But, today - " before Daniella could complete her sentence. Skylar interrupted her.

" Master said, since it is an emergency he will allow you to go. " Skylar lied.

" Okay, I will go at once. "

" Sure." Skylar smiled sweetly. "Jasmine will be so happy to see you come to help her."

When Daniella left. Daisy entered. Daisy was also a star.  She had heard the conversation between them.

" Is Jasmine really in trouble? " Daisy said worried.

" You think?" Skylar smirked.

"This is a joke? " Daisy said almost in anger.

"You thought Jasmine needs help?" Skylar laughed. "She is an independent child. Never need anyone to look out for her."

"Skylar, do you know what you just did?" Daisy asked angrily.

"Daniella won't get onto much trouble. She will just get a warning. Like she is everyone's favorite." Skylar said bitterly.

"Skylar, you do know that today we stars cannot move around? Only the chosen elders can? You do know this year comes every 100 years.  No one had ever broken the rule. "

" She will be fine" Skylar said sounding unsure.

"Skylar, today only the elders can travel... Do you know why? "

" Because they are elders and no rules for them."

"Skylar, only the chosen elders can travel today because if any human sees them from the earth and make a wish then they have to fulfill them. Sometime the human wishes makes the elder stay on earth forever."

" No!" Skylar exclaimed horrified.

" You better stop Daniella."

But it was too late.... Because Daniella had already left for the other side of the earth.
"Hold on, Jasmine. I am coming. " she whispered.

She was almost there when suddenly she felt like she had stopped in between but she did not until she landed on a hard surface. She groaned in pain. She looked around. She was on a huge empty ground. She looked up at the sky.

" How did I end up here? " she said loudly.

She then heard another groaned of pain from the other side and saw a figure.

"Who is it?"  Skylar asked.  The figure move towards her.

"Don't come near me, who is it? " She again questioned.

Her question was answered when she heard the voice.

" Skylar? " she said in shock.

" Daniella, I am sorry - " Skylar apologized.

" For what?"

"Jasmine didn't need any help.  Master didn't even tell me anything."

"Skylar!" Daniella said in a panicked. "You didn't."

"I am sorry Daniella."  Skylar said.

"How come we are on a field?"  Daniella questioned.

"I think someone made a wish when we were traveling."

"No!" Danielle said. "What do we do now?"

"I have no idea my friend." Skylar said looking as confused as Daniella.
