Chapter 10

Theodore had a long day. He just got out of the shower and was having his dinner when he got a phone call. It was from his cousin Adrian.

"Bro, where are you?" Adrian asked as soon as he picked up his call.

Theo rolled his eyes.

"Your greetings are getting better these days." Theo said sarcastically.

"Sorry Bro, I was just excited to share some news with you. Where are you now? Office? Home?" Adrian asked excitedly.

"Home." Theo said.

"Great. I am coming over now."

"Sure."

After five minutes Adrian entered the dining room and sat down on the chair.

"Please serve Adrian some food." Theo said to one of his worker.

"Bro, you know? I sent some people to get some information about that girl we met in the cafe? Apparently, the best team, that I have sent to find her information are unable to get her information. Isn't that strange?"

"What do you mean by unable?" Theo said.

"It's like her information doesn't exists."

One of the worker served Adrian the food and went away.

"Did you check on the other girl?"

"The men are working on it."

"Hmm." Theo said.

"You don't seem that interested." Adrian pointed out.

Theo gave him a weird look.

"What do you mean?" Theo asked.

"I thought you will be excited or something? Your reaction is so plain." Adrian said.

"Why will I be excited for?"

"I thought you will be." Adrian said shrugging it and eating his dinner.

"If you get hold of any details, do let me know."

"I thought you were not interested." Adrian said looking at him.

"I didn't say anything of that sort." Theo retorted.

"So you do admit you are interested?"

Theo rolled his eyes.

"Just let me know because it is sort of my matter too." Theo explained.

"Yeah, I know. She might be meeting you soon. Didn't she say 'See you around'?" Adrian said quoting her words.

"What does she wants from me?"

"We have to find out about that. She gave me those mysterious vibe. Like she knows something." Adrian said shivering.

"Let's talk about this some other time. Let's eat and relax. It is weekend." Theo said trying to change the topic.

"Okay." Adrian agreed.

The weekend flew by and it was Monday morning. Theo was in office. He have a hectic day ahead. He have meetings to attend and files to check and sign. He was tired of all this, but he has a role to play and he is trying his best to fulfill the roles.

Daniella and Skylar for a week they were in that resort. They practiced their powers and got close to the nature. Daniella didn't told Skylar yet that few days back at night when she was in the washroom. Something strange happened. She was washing her face when she felt a weird vibe and she closed her eyes. Suddenly there was a buzzing sound, she opened her eyes and saw the lights flicking on and off. After sometime it was all normal. She shrugged it off thinking it was electrical problem. She decided to relax in this vacation because once she goes back to the city, she have to work on her plan. On Monday morning, she dressed up formally and drove to the Anderson' company. She walked straight to the reception and said:

"I would like to meet Mr. Theodore Anderson."

"Miss, do you have an appointment with him today?" The receptionist asked as politely as she could.

"No." Daniella said.

"Then I am sorry, I can't allow you to meet him." she said.

"Well, I am sure your CEO won't mind. He knows me. Just tell him that a person who he met two weeks back in the cafe is here."

"Miss, you will have to wait for sometime. Our CEO is currently in a meeting."

"How long will it take?" Daniella asked.

"About an hour."

"I will wait." she said.

"You can wait in the lobby." the receptionist said pointing to the sofas in the lobby.

Daniella sat patiently in the sofa. She flipped through the magazines at times or checks on her phone. She was going through the newspaper when she got a phone call from Henry.

"Get out from there now, Daniella." He said as soon as she picked up his call.

"Why?" she asked confused.

"Someone has sent some people to spy on you. Get out from there, now!" Henry said.

"Okay." she said as she cut the call.

Daniella stood up. She was walking towards the exit, when the receptionist stopped her.

"Miss, our CEO's meeting is over. Would you still like to meet him?" she asked.

"Some other time. I have to go somewhere now." she said in a hurry. "Thank you."

The receptionist was confused because Daniella waited for an hour and when it was time she left.

She went to the conference room and entered when everyone was out.

"Sir." she said.

"Yes." Theo said looking at her with a question look.

"There was a woman who wanted to meet you."

"She have an appointment?" Theo asked.

"No, but she told me to tell you something."

"Like?"

"She said that you two met at some cafe, two weeks back."

"What?" Theo said.

"She said you will know her if I convey the message."

"Where is she now?" He asked standing up.

"She left, and the strange thing is that she waited for an hour to meet you, but she got a phone call and left. She said she will meet you some other day."

"Next time when she comes. No matter where I am in a meeting or doing something. Just make sure, you let me know and send her to me. Call Josh now to my office." He said as he took out his phone.

"Adrian, come to my office, now. " He said as soon as Adrian answered his call.
