The Shooting Star

Chapter 7

Present time:

Skylar and Daniella have nearly adapted staying on earth. They are like any normal people from the outside, but they still have their powers. They use their powers to hide their identities. For three months they were searching for the chance to help the guys they were suppose to be helping. Once they got the information of where they lived it was easier for them. They are living in a small house with a kitchen and living room and 3 bedrooms. Their neighbors are kind and helpful. They are getting use to greeting and meeting them now. Their mentor on earth come time to time to check on them and to see if they needed anything. He provides everything for them. Apparently, Henry have his own little business with restaurants and Cafe. Both Daniella and Skylar are working in one of his Restaurants and they are getting along with the humans. There was a myth that stars usually comes out at night, but it is actually not true. The stars are still there, but human can't see them until it is night. Daniella and Skylar powers are more powerful at night than compared to day time.

Many times they had to erase people's memory so that their secrets doesn't come out. Daniella had to leave fast after meeting Theodore because there was some cameraman who was ready to shoot, but just in time Skylar using her power, made the man's hand numb and the camera fell and broke into pieces.

Daniella and Skylar ran back to the car and Skylar started driving. They are better with Team works now. Since they have come here, they have became a much better friends. They are each other's helper and supporters. Daniella and Skylar was going back to the restaurant to help. Henry had called them to warn them not to be around the Anderson's brothers was so long because many people follows them for pictures.

"We will be meeting them after our vacation." Daniella said.

"That will be nice. We need vacation after the long hunt. Even though they are famous, their informations are so hard to find." Skylar said.

"Privacy. " Daniella shrugged.

" Where are we going for Vacation?" Skylar asked.

"Henry said he is sending us to some isolated place for our convenience." Daniella explained.

"Away from human for a while will feel better, it is so hard to be human." Skylar whined.

"We need to work on our plan as fast as possible." Daniella said. "we have to go back home fast."

"What wish did they made? Like we were only told to help them. What help do they even need?" Skylar said.

"We will get to know soon, hopefully" she said unsure.

They reached the restaurant. The restaurant was filled with people. The restaurant is famous for its Ramen noodles. They went behind the kitchen and helped in the kitchen.

They were fast with their movements and works. They have more energy compared to the humans. They have high hearing powers and supernatural powers. By the time it was 11 pm the restaurant started getting empty and they started cleaning up the restaurant. By 12:30 am the restaurant was ready to close and all the workers started leaving. Both of them was the last one. They were in charge to lock everything and to check the stocks that are left and see that everything is in order.

When the blinders were down and the doors were shut. They sat down to discuss about their day. They have become more close than before. They understand each other now. They discuss about what they gave learnt and experienced.

"Do you think we will be able to go back home?" Skylar asked out of the blue.

"Of course." Daniella answered.

"What if we are stuck here? Will we start growing old? Just like the humans?" she said.

"I don't know." Daniella answered honestly.

"But sometime I feel that being a human is better." Skylar said.

"You are not suppose to like being a Human." a voice said.

They looked around until they heard a noise and in a flash their professor stood before them. They haven't met their professor for quite a long time now. Mr. Will was looking at them with a serious face.

"You two are suppose to help and get back to where you two belong." He said in a serious tone.

"Yes, we know that." Daniella said confused by their Professor's behavior. He was never the one who take things very seriously.

"You two cannot have any feelings for the human." He said.

"What?" the two girls said in unison, confused by what their professor said.

"I will be staying here for sometime." He said quickly changing the topic.

The two girls forgot about the previous conversation and excitedly started asking questions to their professor.

"You won't get into trouble for staying with us?" they asked.

"I was given the permission." He said.

"That's great." the girls said excitedly. They now have a little hope of going home quickly. Little did they know the real reason why he was here.

His professor was here for some reasons that they don't know.
