The Shooting Star

Chapter 8

Their professor Mr. Will was called in by the Directors of the Galaxies. The Directors consists of three people. The three of them sat on the chairs beside each other.

"We got some very serious things to talk about." they said.

Professor Will was confused. Why would the Director  call him for something?

"You need to stop the two girls that are on earth right now." one of them said in a serious tone.

"Stop them from what?" He asked confused.

"They will fall in love with humans." the middle one said.

Professor Will was taken aback with the words.

"They won't. They know better not to fall for a human." He said confidently.

"Are you sure?" the middle one said smirking.

"We are never wrong." the right one said.

"What do you want me to do?" Will asked.

"Go to the earth. Stop them from falling in love with a Human. We can't lose them. They are the powerful ones." the middle one said.

"Powerful ones?" Will said confused.

"Daniella." the left one said finally. "We need her here with us. She is the most powerful stars among us. Her energy are the strongest."

"How do you know that?" Will asked.

"Less questions." the right one said silencing him.

"Bring them back here fast. They shouldn't fall a Human. They have to come back."

"But how will I stop them?" Will asked.

"That is your problem." the middle one said shrugging.

"What if they do?" Will asked.

"They have to give up their powers." the left one said without any emotions.

"And we can't let that happen, their powers are the strongest and not many of them have." the middle one said.

"Are we even allow to interfere?" Will finally questioned that. "As far as I know we are not suppose to interfere with any matter-"

"Quiet." the middle one said. He interrupted Will from completing his sentences.

"You do as we tell you to. Make sure the girls come back here. You will stay on earth and make sure of that. You are dismiss." the left one said.

Will was confused about the whole situation. As far as he knows that when someone is on quest, you cannot interfere and help them. He wanted to meet Master and ask him personally, but before he could he was sent down without a warning. He arrived at the restaurant to just in time here the conversation.

Will realised that the situation should not to be taken lightly because Skylar started liking living like a human and maybe Daniella too. He decided he have to help them get back home before they fall in love.

Skylar and Daniella was home at 2:30 am. Their professor went to meet Henry their Mentor. After taking shower and cleaning the house. They sat down to eat. The restaurant was so crowded tonight that they didn't have time to eat. They sat down and ate quietly.

"Professor Will seemed different today." Skylar said breaking the silent.

"You think so too?" Daniella said.

"He seemed offended when I said that I am actually liking the lifestyles of the human."

"I think that was natural considering we are not Humans and that is also because we are his students." she said.

"Not sure." Skylar said.

"Seems quite weird and strange today." Daniella said.

"What is our plan?" Skylar said.

"Just go for vacation and when we come back we will work on our mission and go back home."

Skylar nodded her head.

"I like the plan." she said sounding please. "You cannot stop me from using my power during vacation." Skylar reminded her.

Daniella laughed.

"That depends. If there are humans around. Which is for sure because we are going to a resort to relax."

"You said we are going to a deserted place." Skylar said.

"The resort is in a deserted place, but humans surely goes there and it belongs to human that resort."

Skylar rolled her eyes.

"You could have told me earlier. I thought I will be able to use my powers freely. I haven't used them in a while. It is getting strange. I need practice." she said.

"Henry said that place will be a good place for practicing powers because that place is filled with nature stuff

"How can we use when there is Human?"

"That we have to figure out when we get there. We are leaving at ten in the morning." Daniella reminded her.

"Sure." Skylar said. "I will get some sleep now."

Skylar said goodnight and went to bed while Daniella took out her MacBook and searched for isolated places to practice their power. The place they have chosen to vacation was far away from the city. The resort is in an isolated place which gives Human time to relax and for once help them forget about the city life.

Daniella fell asleep soon with the MacBook and rest until it was morning. Little did she know she will be facing an adventure ahead of her.
