Chapter 9

The next morning, both Daniella and Skylar woke up and got ready for their trip. They ate their breakfast and took their things to the car. Daniella was driving, while Skylar sat on the passenger side and was playing songs. After two hours they reached the isolated place and was coming closer to the resort, they were planning to stay in. They reached the resort in no time. They checked in and went to the room. Skylar screamed and ran to the bed.

When their luggage was brought to their room and the door was shut. The luggage opened on its own and clothes started flying in the air.

"Skylar." Daniella warned.

"You said that I can use my powers here." Skylar said shrugging.

"The blinders are not shut." Daniella said.

"Here." and the next things the blinders roll down and more lights were turned on.

Daniella shook her head.

"You agreed on this." Skylar reminded.

"Why did I even agree to it on the first place?"

"Because you knew we have to practice our power."

Daniella laughed.

"You can come up with many answers Sky." Daniella said.

Skylar laughed and started using her power. The closet opened and the clothes started piling and hanging on its own and within few minutes, Skylar finished unpacking.

"I am done." she said as she laid down. "It feels nice to use them."

"We have to be careful while using it."

"I know." Skylar said.

"Henry said that he booked a private pool for us." Daniella said.

"For what?" Skylar asked sitting up.

"He said to use that to practice our power."

"I like the idea." Skylar grinned.

"I knew it." Daniella laughed. "First I was unsure about it, but Henry assured me. He said that the private indoor pool will be booked and no one can enter without our permission."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go." Skylar said excitedly.

"Before that we have to eat our lunch." Daniella reminded Skylar.

Skylar pouted.

"We need to restore our energy to use our powers."

They left for lunch. Not many people was there in the resort. It was maybe due to the reason that they didn't come during the holiday times. They had come here knowing that not many people will be coming. They sat down to eat their lunch, while observing the surroundings. The place was very refreshing. The place was very silent compared to the city places. People around them were all relaxed and comfortable with the surroundings.

"What else is there to enjoy over here?" Skylar asked.

"There is firework show at night. Parks for the children. There are many indoor and outdoor games over here."

"Doesn't sounds so interesting." Skylar said.

Daniella shrugged.

"There is a Skateboarding area somewhere."

Skylar jumped hearing that.

"We should go for it."

"First, we have to do what we came here for."

"Of course, that is the most important one. I have to use them because it's been a while."

After their lunch, they decided to walk around the place and see what else they can do in that one week. After an hour they went to the reception to ask about their pool booking.

"O yes!" the receptionist said. "I will send someone with you, he will show you the way."

Skylar and Daniella followed the man silently while the man tried to make a conversation. When they reached the man turned to them and said:

"No one will disturb you two and if you need help, you can go to the help desk."

Saying that he turned and walked away. Both the girls looked at the surroundings. The indoor pool was big. Quite big actually. The only source of light was coming from the glass roof. The roof was made of glass. Apart from that, the windows and all was shut. Daniella checked whether there was any cameras around because usually they do. When they found none. She breathed in relieved.

Skylar made sure that the door was locked and then they both went to change into their swim wear. Skylar went into the water and then when she came out, she felt good. She raised her hand and some water came out from the pool. Whichever direction her hand went, the water followed it. She attacked Daniella who was at that time busy settling her things.

Daniella gasped in surprise.

"You did not just do that." she screamed.

Skylar laughed.

"Sorry, was just having fun."

Daniella laughed and then she raised her hand and some water came out from the pool to her direction and it stopped before her.

"You would not." Skylar said.

"Watch me." and then the water went and attacked Skylar who tried to escaped, but couldn't because it seemed like Daniella was more powerful than her when it comes to handling the water. They played around with their powers, until they were done.

"I used to be jealous of you because you have better control over your powers." Skylar admitted.

"There is nothing to be jealous about. There are many things you can do with your powers that I cannot." Daniella said looking at Skylar.

"Like?"

"How you can control lots of water bodies together while I can handle one at a time."

Skylar nodded as she thought.

"Yea right." she said.

They looked up at the sky. The glass was a good idea.

"Is the rumors true that you can control fire too?" Skylar asked.

"Where did you hear that from?" Daniella asked.

"People were talking about it."

Daniella didn't answer.

"Is it true?"

"I am not sure." Daniella said honestly. "It was just one time thing"

"Means it is true." Skylar said excitedly. "Means you have more than one power."

Daniella shrugged.

" I am unsure. It was just a one time thing, like I said; it just happened. Henry said to make use of this place and vacation to find out more about our powers."

"Then we will just do that." Skylar grinned.
