The Shooting Star

Chapter 4

It was past 4 pm and Theo was getting annoyed. The suppose to be 'Date' was late.  He looked at his watch rather impatiently until a brunette girl came and sat opposite side of him.
"Theodore Anderson? " the girl asked cheerfully.
" Yes. " he said trying not to sound annoyed.
" Finally, I found you. You don't know how long it took for me to get to you." the girl said.
Theo although, he was annoyed that he was made to wait for a long time. He couldn't believe how beautiful she is.  She have blue eyes which was very warm and welcoming. She have a innocent face and a beautiful smile.
"Theo" he said to himself. "Get a grip."
"I am hungry." the girl said.
Theo thought that the William's daughter would be like those rich girl who starve them self just to look good but it was the opposite. 

"Sorry, let's order something. " Theo said. 

Theo again expected her to order maybe a salad but then she did the opposite. 

" I want Burgers and Fries" she said. "With Coca-Cola"

" What about you, sir?"  The waiter asked.

" Just coffee." Theo said trying to stop his heart from beating too quickly.

" He will have the same."

" Excuse me?" Theo said.

" You already had several cups of coffee." The girl said pointing to the empty cups in front of them. You want sandwiches or something else? But, you are not allow to have more coffee! It is not good for your health."

Theo never ever had anyone who told him not to have something so much as it is unhealthy. How much coffee he wanted he would get. Theo realized she was different. Theo wanted to know more about her as she was turning out to be completely opposite of who he expected.

"I didn't get your name" Theo said politely almost shyly.

She laughed. Theo found her laugh so warm and real unlike those laugh that some women he met whose laugh sounded so fake.

" My name is Daniella. I am sorry for not introducing myself. I was so excited that I found you."

"Found me?"

" How are you doing?" she asked trying to change the Topic. Theo didn't press her or question her again regarding the slip.

" I am doing good. Thank you. How are you?" he asked awkwardly.

" You can relax a bit. We are not having a formal meeting, are we ?" she asked.

" I guess not." Theo answered unsure.

Then their food came and the discussion died for sometime.

" The Burger is not that good." Daniella said.

" Excuse me? They said that place sells the best burger." Theo said.

"Then you haven't try the street burgers. They are the best!" Daniella exclaimed.

Again Theo was shocked because he never expected The William's daughter to eat foods that are sold in the streets.

Theo smiled for the first time after so many years. A real smile. He likes her. 

" She is different" he thought to himself.

" Hello, Cousin." someone interrupted them. Someone as in Adrian.

" What are you doing over her?" Theo asked.

Adrian couldn't contain his excitement. He saw his cousin smiled after so long. It wasn't those fake smile that his cousin have to often put up in front of people but a real smile. He wanted to meet the girl and wanted to thank her for making his cousin smile.

" I was just passing by.. Thought I will just drop by to say Hi to my cousin." Adrian lied.

"You two are cousins? That is so nice. Why don't you have a seat and join us?" Daniella said.

" It is Okay." Adrian said but before he could say anything more Daniella called for the waiter and asked him what he wanted.

"The same." Adrian said.

"It is so nice meeting you two." Daniella said.

They were laughing and joking. Well, basically only Adrian and Daniella was cracking jokes while Adrian would smile once in a while. They conversation was interrupted by a shrilling voice of another girl.

" Which one of you two is Theodore Anderson?"

"Me." Theo asked confused.

" Well sorry that I was late but, you know sometime California's traffic can be rough."

" Who are you?" Adrian asked.

" Ashley. Ashley Williams."
