I walked around this thrift store looking for the one thing I want.
Yes, I shop at thrift stores occasionally. I don't know why people act like it's a bad thing to shop at a thrift store. You can find designer clothes and bags in a thrift store and no not all of them be knockoffs.
Plus I took fashion design in high school and worked at a cleaners, so I can tell the fake from the real. I don't own any fake designer handbags and people think I spend a a lot of them and I'm like no, I payed $50 for this and if you catch it as soon as the price drop again you're lucky.
See the way thrift stores operate is they start off selling designer bags and handbags at about $200 but the longer it sits on the shelf the more the price drop. That way you can buy a $1,500 handbag for $50. Then you also got some thrift stores that don't know certain name brands so it's already marked down to like $20, $10, and sometimes even $5.
Which is how I got my Hilde Palladino for $10. Yes $10 and I mind you that diamonds are in the clasps that is made from white gold.
"Hi, how much is that bag?" I asked pointing to the Marc Jacobs bag that was hanging in the wall.
"It's $100 dollars."
"Can I see please."
"Sure." The woman said passing me the bag.
An easy way to sometimes tell if the bag is a knockoff is by looking in the inside.
"Yeah no thank you." I said passing her the bag back after I finished looking the bag over.
"Your the third person who has done that." She said with a chuckle as she hung the bag back up.
"Yeah that's a knockoff." I said walking off.
I left the store and got back in my car. I pulled my phone out to google another thrift store in the area.
I need this bag to end my Marc Jacobs collection and it's making me mad how I can't find it. Half way through my google search Xayvion called me.
This new promotion gives him too much privacy and freedom.
"How may I help you Simba?" I asked why still strolling, trying to find a store I have not checked yet.
"I just left this meeting and I missed lunch so I was wondering if you could bring me something to the office. I can't really leave right now they got me on a big project."
