World: Real Life/ Super Hero AU (and no not cow man)

The faint light of the streetlight coated the driveway in an eerie orange glow. Ross was leaving his home late one night, because he needed to get more food for KP and Galileo.

He stepped into his car, rolling out of the driveway and making his way to the store. It was a short trip and Ross didn't really need to even think about it, he knew the route like the back of his hand.

Parking the car in the lot of the convenient store, Ross walked in, shivering because of the cold.

The was warm inside, and Ross was thankful for that.

"Evening sir." The cashier greeted him. He waved in her direction as a response, mumbling a 'hello'.

He walked down an isle, finding the thing he was looking for, and hesitated before walking back up to pay.

He was already there, so why not?

He walked down another isle, grabbing some Mt. Dew (along with some other sodas for Max and Tim) and some Mac n' Cheese for Max, knowing how much he loved it.

Finally, he paid for his groceries and walked back out to his car. He placed the items into the car, closing the door and walking around the other side to get into the drivers seat.

But before he could sit down, he heard some yelling from somewhere close by, and it sounded like one of the people were distressed.

He sighed, closing the car door and walking in the direction of the voices.

He came upon a man and a woman, who couldn't be much to older than himself.

The man was trying to force his way onto the girl, and was clearly drunk. The girl was obviously uncomfortable with it, and was yelling at him to get away, but he laughed and kept going.

"Hey, can't you see she's uncomfortable? Let her go."

The man looked at him with red eyes, oh great, so he was high too?

"Oh yeah? Well what are you gonna do about it?"

"Other than ask you nicely to stop, nothing unless I'm forced too."

"Why don't you just turn around and walk away, nerd?"

"I guess we're doing this the hard way." Ross said, walking up to the man, who let go of the woman so he could face Ross with his full body.

He smiled a cocky grin, waiting for Ross to do something.

"I'm gonna ask you nicely once more. Walk away from the girl."

In his drunken and high state of mind, he tried to throw a punch at Ross, who dodged it very easily.

"Ok then." Ross mumbled to himself.

Ross retaliated by punching the man in his jaw, who fell down, already unconscious.

"Seriously? Out already? Wow, he was more out of it than I thought." Ross said to himself, but loud enough for the woman to hear him.

"Oh god, thank you so much." The woman said.

"No problem. You were obviously uncomfortable, and he wouldn't back off. I just can't stand it when people do that."

"Well, is there any way I can repay you?"

"Just make it home safe."

The woman smiled.

"I will, thank you."

Ross nodded, and headed back to his car so he could finally go home.

*Small little Time Skip, don't worry bout' it*

"Hey Max, I'm home!" Ross called, walking into the kitchen.

"Hey Ross." Max said, walking in.

"Look what I got." He pulled out the Mac n' Cheese.

"Le gasp!" Max said, looking at the boxes with wide eyes.

Ross laughed at his excitement. Max laughed along with him.

"In all seriousness," Max started. "We going out tonight? Or is it our day off?"

"Hmm, well I thought we could at least check for trouble around the city, scince we kinda made it our second job."

"True. Wait, hold on." Max went to the kitchen door. "TIM!" He yelled.

"WHAT?"

"YOU GOING WITH ME AND ROSS TONIGHT?"

"NO I GOT TOMORROW NIGHT REMEMBER?"

"OH YEAH. NEVERMIND THEN!"

"OK!"

They finished yelling at each other.

"Looks like it's just us tonight, invisible boy." Max teased him, calling him by the title the news had nicknamed him after they started using their abilities to help the whole city.

"Ok, Mr. Zen."

Yes, the Media actually named him Mr. Zen, because he had telekinesis and telepathy, able to move and bend objects at his will and read minds.

Like how Ross was The Invisible Boy, on account he could turn his whole body invisible.

"Shut up, and let's get suited up."

Ross put on his suit that allowed him to turn invisible without having to worry about your clothes being seen floating around, because the suit turned invisible with him. They modified some contacts for him so that they would also turn invisible, and Ross could still see.

The suit was tight fitted so he could move more easily with a still good amount of protection, and it was all grey with stripes of red, courtesy of Shelby's input on it, making it look like his Minecraft skin.

Maxs suit was also tight fitted to his body, but his had just a bit more armour on it, because his powers relied on his mind instead of physical endurance. It was completely black with a gold Z on it. Yes, cliche because of his necklace, and easily recognisable to his fans, but the gold was dull, so it didn't shine while they were out at night, and they only ever went out at night. So who would even see it?

"Ready?" Ross asked when they met up in the living room.

"Yup." Max answered, kissing him on the side of the head. "Stay safe, okay?"

"Of course, when am I not?"

Max rolled his eyes.

"TIM! We're going now!"

"OKAY! See you when you get back!"

They headed off to the city together, ready for yet another long night.
