World: Real Life

Nick didn't know what to do.

Uni was visiting them all for two weeks, and it was frustrating.

Now Nick should be happy about this, because he had a crush on Uni but rarely got to see him.

But that's partially the reason he's panicking.

What if he slipped up? In front of him? He hadn't realized his crush until after the last time he had seen Uni in person, so any of the accidental 'your cute's or 'I love you's (which happened less frequently, but still) that happened over Skype or during their videos together could just be passed off as Nick talking to his cat or something, because let's face it, Lula is pretty damn cute.

But what if they were out in public and Nick said something like that? He would be so embarrassed.

Even worse, Uni was staying at his house for the two weeks he was spending in America.

"Hey, Nick?" Uni called, breaking Nick out of his thoughts.

"Yeah?" He asked carefully.

"Do you have any coffee? I'm dying for some."

"Uh, probably the cheap kind you get at like Walmart or something."

"Whatever. I'm gonna make some, alright?"

"Yeah it's cool."

"You want some?"

"Sure."

Uni smiled a little before walking away.

Oh god, if only Uni knew what he was doing to Nick.

Nick loved his smile, his accent, his dyed hair, his eyes. He especially loved the way his body curved when he was- No! Stop thinking this way! He'll never feel the same about you, so just stop! Nick scolded himself.

But he couldn't stop.

And even if Uni was gay, he wouldn't feel attracted to Nick.

Nick, who was too skinny and tall for his own liking.

Nick, who hated himself because of his height and weight.

And sure, Uni was taller than him, but he looked good. Nick just looked like a idiot.

Nick got off the couch and made his way to his room. He flattened himself on top of the blankets, not caring enough to climb under them.

He sighed, and he felt a single tear streak down the side of his face.

He curled up on his side, holding his head, letting more tears spill.

After what felt like a few minutes, there was a knock on his bedroom door.

"Coming." Nick said, his voice thankfully not cracking and giving him away.

He quickly got up and wiped his tears, hoping it wasn't to obvious.

He opened the door and saw Uni standing there with a mug of something steaming.

Uni handed Nick the mug.

"Careful it's hot."

"Thank you, Uni." Nick said, trying to act normal.

But unfortunately his luck ran short.
