initially, i was really against the idea of a sequel to empire but i am so flipping glad i did it. ive had so much fun and i loVE YOU ALL SO MUCH YOURE ALL SO SUPPORTIVE AND FUNNY AND NICE AND IT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME OHMYGOD
i realized that a lot of you probably think this book was really short and went really quickly because it did. i get that it was like "oh hey phil, now they're having sex-oh, damn, dan is fucking dead rightio. the end." i understand that might've annoyed a few of my readers which i TOTALLY get! but keep in mind that my whole idea was to rush the story because
a. y'all were already attached to dan/the other characters that aren't dead because it's a sequel so there wasn't really a point in reintroducing the characters to make you love them and then killing them off :')))))
b. i wanted to create that feeling of panic and confusion which is why a lot of things weren't explained until LATER in the book and then they weren't really explained anyway bUT HOLD ON
my whole thing as an author is having my readers make up endings/conspiracies themselves!! it gives me such a thrill!! and it means you guys all get the endings/ events you want!!
i can do a character/story ask if you guys have any questions about events and such?? idk man,, is that a good idea???
anywAY ive had such a blast and i love you all. i wont drag on anymore because nobody reads authors notes
