dan cries himself to sleep. he can't stand himself. he can't stand phil, either. phil walking through the door was like having dans entire past walking through the door. dan kicks at his blanket restlessly, tears streaming down his dirty cheeks. he clamps his hands over his mouth to prevent his sobs from being heard. he craves love. he craves beautiful. he craves phil lester.
dan scratches relentlessly at the soft skin on his arms. he scratches until they bleed, picking angrily at the needle scars on his forearms. he can feel blood pooling the more he scratches. it burns but he likes it.
