Chapter XVIII

NATHAN

     "Nathan! Wake up!" Andrei is waking me up.

      It's so cold! Colder than last night.

      "I need five more minutes, Andrei" I said

      "Stop that! Brix and Eldon are ready to go back home" said Andrei

      "What!?" I checked the time using my mobile watch. "It's too early! Five in the morning?" I said

     "Just get out of the tent and see why do we need to go back early" said Andrei

     I got up from the tent, and go outside.

     "Cloudy morning, huh?" I said

     The sky is full of clouds. I can't even see its blue color.

    "See? There's a possibility of raining" said Andrei

    "But last night, the sky was just... so clear" I said

    "We should pack up now" said Andrei

    "Come on" I said

    After a few hours, finally we are here at the base of the mountain.

   We continue walking while Brix is taking pictures.
   "What do you think is Marco doing right now?" asked Eldon

    "Maybe he's in Justin's house?" I answered

    "Maybe at this point, he Justin is revealing his plan to Marco" said Andrei

    "Or maybe he just told Marco his entire plan" said Brix

    "Maybe he already know the plan since last night" said Eldon

    "Or maybe..."

    "No more guessing, Nathan" said Andrei before I finish my sentence

    We're now in front of Seventh District. The clouds get darker and darker

    "Humans, I think we have to walk a little bit faster" said Eldon

    "Wait a minute... is it a snow?" asked Andrei after a white thing just fell to him

    "Is it snowing?" I asked

    Then, snow started falling to the ground.

    "Run!" said Brix

    We ran as fast as we can.

     Luckily, we made it here at Third District quickly.

    "We have to go back to the room" said Andrei.

     We walked until we reached Room 8125, our American regional house.

     Eldon turned on the TV.

On screen:

      "Good morning American region! Snow just started to fall to the ground, and the reactions of public are diverse" said the reporter

      "We are now here in front of First District. People aren't going back to their respective houses until the American region president approve Mr Adamson" added the reporter

     "Approve Justin! Approve Justin!" shouted the protesters

     "We are going to interview a protester regarding to what they're fighting for. So good morning mister, what do you expect to president's decision?" asked the reporter

     "Mr. President, I know you can hear us, please approve Justin. The Ice Age has just started. Snows just started to fall. Please Mr. President. The other world leaders just approved Justin, and you, who is an American, hasn't yet decided. Remember that Justin is an American, too" said the protester

    "Well, thank you mister. That's the breaking news for this morning. Good morning!" said the reporter.

    "What!? I thought they didn't approve Justin?" asked Eldon

    "Worldwide protest, huh?" said Andrei

    "Wait, did he say... world leaders just approved Justin? Does it mean, protests are not just happening in this region?" I asked

    "Yeah. People from different places and different regions are protesting, for world leaders to approve Justin" said Andrei

    "They are forcing their leaders to approve Justin?" I asked

    "Did the leader of the Philippine region also approved Justin?" asked Eldon

    "I'm still waiting for the answer. I just texted Dan" said Andrei

    "We have to contact Marco" I said

    "Dialing" said Eldon

    After a few seconds, the call was answered.

    "Hey humans!" said Marco after just his holographic image showed up

    "What's new? How's your mission?" asked Eldon

    "Majority of world leaders approved Justin. The American region president just approved Justin, and from now on, his plan is legal" said Marco

    "What!? Didn't they really learn from the past?" said Andrei

    "People said that they moved on. In addition, Justin is defending his plan goodly when the media relates it to the red giant sun issue" said Marco

   "We have to do something now to stop him" I said.

  "Where are you at this moment?" asked Brix

   "Justin's house" answered Marco

   "When and where do Justin make his plan?" asked Eldon

   Unfortunately, the call has been cut off.

   "What happened?" asked Andrei

   "I don't know. Our conversation has been cut off, and now I can't contact him" said Eldon

   "Seems like something bad happened to Marco" said Andrei

   "Let's save him" said Brix
