Surviving Tomorrow

Chapter XXI

NATHAN

       "That was too close. Good thing you guys are intelligent" I said

       "Thanks to Marco, because of him, we stopped Justin" said Andrei

       "I am not informed regarding this plan" I said

       "We just made the plan while talking to Justin" said Eldon

       "How did you do that?" I said

       "I don't know. We just understand each other by staring to each of us" said Eldon

       "Why didn't I notice that?" I said

       "Your eyes didn't look to anywhere. You just look at Justin, while we were making a plan, trying hard to understand each other, when Marco is talking to Justin" said Eldon

       "That's okay. It's over, and I think we succeed" I said

       "Because of that, we are going back home tomorrow" said Andrei

       "What!?" said Eldon

       "Why? We're done with American Region. There are no more reasons for us to stay here for a long more time" said Andrei

       "That's great! I can join you going back at the Philippine Region" said Brix

       "Really? But how's your work?" I said

       "I'm also done with this region. I guess there's a lot of beautiful places here that we've been through, and I think that's enough for a travel magazine" said Brix

        "Then, we have to fix our things by now, so that we are ready to go back tomorrow" said Andrei

        "Gotta go" said Brix. He went to his room to fix his things.

        Eldon also went to his room. Marco and Eldon are sharing one room.

        Andrei went to his room, and started to fix his things.

        I think I should also fix my things and pack up.

        After that, we have nothing to do but eat our dinner, and look at the beautiful starry night of American Region one more time.

       "I can't believe that we're now leaving this region" said Eldon

       "I just started to fall in love with this region, but suddenly, I have to say goodbye to it" I said

       "That's what you will feel when you fell in love. At first, you have no idea how to move on it, but when time continue passing, you will not realize that you're just forgetting it little by little" said Eldon

        "I learned from this region that falling in love hurts" I said.

        As of now, we are on the rooftop of Third District, lying on a wide picnic blanket.

       We are not able to lie on the grassland because of the snow.

        We are lying like this: Brix, Marco, Andrei, Eldon and me.

         We are watching the beautiful starry night sky of the American Region

         "You know guys, about what happened earlier with Justin, I have dreamt about it" I said

         "Really!? Why didn't you tell us?" said Andrei

         "It's a long time ago. I just remembered it when it happened" I said

         "That's awesome!" said Brix

         I smiled at them. I think I will miss this night.

     8:00 AM

     We are now here inside a solar-powered plane.

      I am beside its window, looking at the American region.

      By now, the plane just started to fly to go back to the Philippine region.

      "I will miss the American Region" I said

      "Me too" said Eldon.

      After a few hours, the plane landed on the rooftop of the Philippine Government Space Ark (PhSA1).

      We got outside the plane, and take a breath of fresh air.

      "Do the air feel so warm now?" asked Andrei

      "Yeah. Why is the air here warm?" asked Eldon

      "Warm air in a place full of snow?" asked Brix

      I looked around. Even snows had fallen in the Philippine region.

      We walked happily until we reached the Philippine Space Ark 2 (District 02).

       We are now here in front of District 02.

       "Guys, I think I can only join with you until here" said Brix

       "Why?" asked Eldon

       "It's time to say goodbye to you. I'm going back home now at District 10" said Brix

       "What? Aren't you joining us home?" said Andrei

       "No. I have so many works to do. I will put captions to my pictures then I will send it to the publishing company where I work" said Brix

       "Are you sure?" asked Marco

       Brix nodded.

      "Oh men. I hate saying goodbyes" said Eldon

      "We should make a friendship group hug" said Andrei

      We made a group hug.

      "This is not a good bye. We will see you soon, right?" said Eldon

      "Okay! See you soon Eldon, Andrei, Nathan and Marco! Farewell!" said Brix

      We waved our hands.

       Brix continue walking while waving his hand.

       We just stand there until Brix's shadow is not visible on our location.

       "Wait, are you guys crying?" said Marco while looking at us.

       "Of course not" Andrei wiped his tears.

       I didn't notice that I'm tearing.

       "Come on. Let's go home" said Andrei
