Ch.05 "Good" Night

~Evan~

What am I supposed to do now?

Me and Anthony walk down the hall of the second floor slowly approaching the stairs.Anthony seems so calm rambling about how "hot" this one girl was meanwhile. I'm just here thinking of a a way to reject Anthony without hurting his feelings because he's my roommate and it might get awkward between us

"Evan! Wake up!" He stands in front of me shaking my shoulders. I notice that we actually just stopped walking, standing in the middle of the hallway getting some weird glances from the people passing by

"Oh sorry! Just thinking.." He deeply sighs and says reassuringly "Listen Evan, If you really don't want me to join it's fine by me" He stuffs both of his pockets with his hands and just flashes me a polite little smile which is honestly making me feel guilty for wanting to push him away

"N-no! I-its fine by me"

No it isn't Evan don't let the guilt eat you

"Really?" He asks with a questioning stare clearly not buying it. Quick say that you don't actually mean it it's a chance!

"Y-yes really i r-really don't m-m-mind!" YOU IDIOT, YOU WASTE OF SPACE

I smile awkwardly at him really trying my best to not hurt his feelings because honestly i feel horrible

He replaces his little smile to a big steal 'yo girl grin the moment i approve of him joining me

We walk down the stairs and head towards the exit

Me and Eve just sit down at the benches waiting for Evan to step out. We just stare at the cute guys walking in front of us rating them from 1 to 10, highest rate was a 7 because nobody was as charming as my Jassius

"Oh! I see an 8 Yuki! but sadly he seems to have a little sugar in his bones" Eve nudges my sides. I glance at the guy she's pointing to and i laugh loudly

It's Evan

"Eve! That's Evan!" She looks at me with widened eyes "Seriously?"

I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw Evan just blushing probably hearing Eve's blatant remark about his sexuality

"Sorry about Eve's obnoxiousness Evan!" I stand up and grab his hands shaking them vigorously to apologize in behalf of my best friend

"O-oh it doesn't really bother me" He gives us a sheepish smile and scratches the back of his head "She's not really wrong if we're being honest here" He mumbles staring at the ground

I widened my eyes at his response "Wait you're gay?"

I see him tense up and just stare at me with dull eyes "Bisexual really, W-Well if it bothers you i c-can just  leave you guys alone" flailing his arms awkwardly

"What are you talking about Evan?" I ask with a questioning stare

"Aren't you gonna say huehuehue fuck off faggot huehuehue" He imitates a stereotypical homophobe with matching facial expressions

I tilt my head to the side "Why would i do that?"

He shrugs and just glances behind him and motions for us to wait. Me and Eve just exchange glances and shrug as well.Evan comes back with a guy a cute guy nonetheless i'd say he's an 8

"What is he your boyfriend?" Eve breaks the silence

A red pigment enveloped Evan's cheeks "NO! He is not, For your information i have standards!"
