Something's not right

I thought to myself as to why Evan would walk in without Anthony but with Lucas who supposedly broke his heart, with a grin that can pierce the heavens

I snap my head back to the professor who is about to introduce herself

"Good morning my children! I am Jill Aleian, I will be your homeroom teacher" She excitedly greets

"Since it's only the first day of classes let's all introduce ourselves, Let's start with name,profession and gender" She scans the room with her eyes and stops at Evan who is still grinning like an idiot "Let's start with you" Evan wakes up from his trance and shakes his head rapidly "M-me?" He points to himself

The professor nodded while flashing a polite smile

Evan stands up and scratches the back of his head, he looks around the class as his eyes meet mine and Anthony's we give him a reassuring smile he returns the gesture before sighing "I am Evan Rimonds, specializing in any kinds of offensive magic..." He hesitated for a second, he takes a glance at Lucas and proceeds "and i-i am b-bisexual"

I look around the class and see a variety of reactions; shocked,angry and nonchalant as I was scanning the crowd I saw Lucas seemingly shocked but quickly composed himself by looking at the nearby window

Suspicious

"Thank you Evan, now how about you" Jill nodded while asking a female student

She confidently rose and placed both hands on her hip "Ophelia Rozart, specializing in infiltration but most of all a female that firmly believes the rainbow is complete bullshit"

Most of the class erupted in laughter while Evan was just there laying low, if it weren't for Anthony restraining me I would have stood up jabbed her ribs

I glanced at Evan and his eyes just begged us not to do anything

I complied and settled with glaring instead of homicide. The laughter ensued as Evan dug deeper into his seat, a chock-full of feathers were gliding around the classroom disappearing as soon as it touched a surface

I sighed out of fatigue, soon after I see everyone dropping to the floor. I rush after them feeling my own pair of eyes slowly drooping "Dispel" I mutter to myself feeling the warm blue light remove the drowsiness. I look around and see Evan standing there horrified and the professor applauding "Well done Ms?" motioning for me to finish her sentence 

I eye her suspiciously "Yuki Llondle, Why would you do that to your students!" I head over to Anthony "Dispel" the same blue light enveloped him and quickly he jolted awake and sat up "What happened?" I shake my head "That's what i'd like to know"

 I turn my head to the professor who is approaching Evan "I cast a spell to make everyone in the vicinity to fall asleep so that Evan can take the day off" Jill turned and went back to her platform

Evan deadpanned "Why?" "Discrimination is a terrible thing Rimonds, it drove one of my most favored students.." She hesitated her usual perky self replaced with a frown "Anyway i won't let that happen to anymore of my children"

 Evan shook his head "I won't let their bigotry affect me, If I leave now I'll only make them further believe that i'm weak"

Mrs.Jill smiled "Your a strong one Evan let's hope that doesn't change, now sit back down and let's continue introductions" The three of us carry the fallen students onto their desks and sit back down onto our own
