~Evan~

As we sat there appreciating the serenity of the secluded area, I noticed the moon peeking over the beautiful multicolored trees

I look over at Liam and see him staring at me seemingly lost in thought. I smirk and squeeze his hand to jolt him awake "It's getting late Liam" I whisper carefully to not disrupt the peacefully sleeping animals around us

He shakes his head and looks at the dark sky adorned with lustrous stars "I guess it is" he says sheepishly scratching his nape

We sat there for a few moments acknowledging that we have to get back before our room mates started worrying

I stood up and patted the dirt on my clothing away "Is it alright if I come back here? I mean if you're bothered- I mean I totally get if you don't " He eyed me confusedly until he smile mischievously "On one condition" I tensed as I heard his tone of voice "W-What might t-that be?" My feet trembling beneath me as if an earthquake of high magnitude just struck without warning

He stepped closer until I can feel his warm breath meeting my skin as he exhaled making blush and step back a bit, but he quickly closed in and whispered into my ear "Your name" his endearing brown eyes meeting my blue ones

My name?

My face grew hotter if that was even possible

I hadn't even introduced myself to him

I took a step back and bowed my head "Sorry for the late introduction" I look up and see his eyes filled with amusement "No need to be formal now" He chuckled

"I'm Evan Rimonds a first year" I said fiddling with my fingers to preoccupy myself, his eyes widened "You're a first year?" I nodded my head slowly not getting why that was such a surprise "Wow with your height I thought you were third year too" he inspected me head to toe "Yeah, I get that a lot" feeling a bit sad with the new discovery

He talked to me because I looked older

I let out a deep sigh but before I can say anything he cuts me off "Evan come to me if you ever feel like it, I'll be waiting right here" flashing me a grin that no one could say no to

Why?

"Why would you willingly do that?" He stared at me as if I grew another head and kept his answer short

"Why not?"

I stared at his eyes looking for any trace of hesitation that could tell me that he was lying. I felt a tight sensation in my chest still not comprehending his words

I grew tired of thinking about the various ways of how this was just an elaborate prank to mess with me I raised my arms in defeat "Evan I mean it" he touched my shoulder as I winced

I doubt that

I thought dryly still denying this weird turn of events after all why would anyone aside from my actual friends to be nice to me after that little incident

I turned around and muttered almost to myself "Good night Liam"

The rest of the walk consisted of me telling myself that no one could be that nice enough to offer a freak like me comfort

I walked down the empty hall eager to just forget about this day and let my bed wash all my troubles away. As I stood there in front my door staring blankly at the number 34. I wake up from my trance as I feel someone tap my shoulders
