It was almost past midnight, as the sky turned navy blue then jet black with stars twinkling. The view is so freaking pretty.

I awed, mesmerised by the beauty of it. I wanted to capture it in my camera. But the only obstacle was Nick. His head leaning against the window didn't help as he was deep asleep.

Why did I have to be so nice and offer him my seat?

In my defense I forgot this was a 12 hour journey. And would be graced by the sight of big beautiful blanket of sky with stars studded on it.

Nick had woken up as dinner was offered. He didn't say much. His mind seemed to be occupied somewhere else. Nor did I attempt to steal away his moment. Though He looked better. His face held the glow and charm that had been lacking due to lack of sleep, oh and not to forget his soulful green eyes and the now -disappeared bags under his eyes.

It's nice to see him in his skin again.
No one deserved to be in pain. And I would do anything I could to make them feel better.

Later, after dinner, Adi wandered off with Adira, yes the cuddling partner, as she wanted him to meet her gang. She clarified it was just her way of being nice to him and her friends would like to meet him too. And Adi-well, you know him. He wouldn't miss a chance!

Unfortunately, she was left out from her group as the seats were full and got the only seat vacant, which was beside Adi.

Someone tapped on my shoulder and I hummed, not tearing my eyes away from the rare pretty sight. It was too beautiful to look away and I was captivated by it.

"Come here." Chase's voice made me pull my eyes to meet his.
I furrowed my brows in confusion. "What are you talking about?"
"You like the scenery." It wasn't a question. He smiled knowingly. He must've caught me staring. "You can take my seat and click as many pics you want. You seem like a kid looking at its favourite candy." He winked.

Well! Now that is an offer You can't deny.

"I don't like candies. In fact I've never had one." I said to myself, but I guess he heard it as his eyes were the size of the saucer. I waved it off as I considered his offer.

I had promised myself to capture as many moments as possible so that I can treasure them, so that in future I would have something good to look back at. I just wanted to make memories. Good and awesome memories!

You are never sure of people you have beside you, may or may not be there with you tomorrow, but you will always have memories.

I grinned to myself as I shot up and slid into his seat. He chuckled at my enthusiasm.

"So thoughtful of you. Thank you so much! Chase baby!" I pinched his cheeks.

"Oh no! You don't do that to me." He tried to back off. But it was too late.
"Ow! Okay! Okay!" He whined as I continued pulling at his cheeks. "Stop! Woman! You're going to rip it apart." I released him as I pecked his now red cheeks. He froze. His cheeks warm and red.

I guess I might have pulled a bit too harder. I grinned at him sheepishly as I focused my attention to the beauty outside screaming my name.

He just shook his head as he muttered something like 'high and always catching him off guard.'

Poor baby!

He sank further in his seat as he got busy with himself.

I lean back and prop my legs up as I wrap my arms around them, leaning my cheek on my knees and gazing out at the beautiful sky.

I am so close to heaven. So close to Dhruvi. These stars were almost as pretty as Dhruvi.
