Chapter 5

Anthony pov

Oh my gosh I'm so nervous for tonight. Everything has to go perfect if there's any chance of making Jasmine mine. This date needs to be the best date she's ever been on because she deserves the best. Jasmine just sent me her address and to make sure I get there on time, I start to head over. Flowers, check. Keys and wallet, check. Beautiful date waiting for me to pick her up, check.

Jasmine pov

As I slipped on my high heels, I heard the doorbell ring. As I looked at the clock, it changed from 6:59 to 7:00. "Right on time" I say to myself.

I open the door and a very happy Anthony is standing there. "Wow... Jasmine, you look, wow." He stands there looking at me, opening his mouth as if to say something, but nothing comes out.

I'm wearing a black cocktail dress with black, sparkly pumps. I have my hair down and curly, natural. I did light makeup because I wanted Anthony to see me, not me but with makeup caked on. "You don't look too bad yourself" I say back to a very handsome Anthony. He is wearing dress pants with a nice button-down shirt and dress shoes. His long hair is pulled back into a man-bun, and it looks really good on him.

"Should we go?" I ask him, as I grab my purse. "Yeah, let's get going. Our reservations are for 7:30." "Ooh, reservations. I feel so special" I say to him. "Well, that's because you are special" Anthony says back with a smug grin on his face. "So far, this is going really well" I think to myself. Hopefully it stays like this the whole night.
