Chapter 21

Anthony pov

It's been a few weeks since Jazzy and I got engaged, and I can tell that she's really excited. She's been looking at all of these wedding dress magazines and she got a really big binder for planning. Thank God she's taking care of all of this because I don't think I'd be able to.

"How's it going?" I question Jazzy as I walk into the kitchen and find her looking through some sort of wedding magazine.

"Great! I'm so excited for the wedding and for us to be able to spend the rest of our lives together!" Jazzy exclaims as she stands up from the table. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her waist from behind.

"Well I can't wait to spend the rest of today with you..." I whisper in her ear.

"Ugh I wish, but I'm meeting Pippa and Renee for lunch." She turns around and gives me a peck on the lips. "Sorry babe, but I'll only be with them for a few hours, so we can definitely have dinner together!"

"Ok, I guess" I sigh in an over-dramatic way, making Jazzy laugh.

"Oh come on, don't make me feel bad!"

"Sorry!" I protest, putting my hands in the air. "Hey, speaking of feeling bad, are you ok? Earlier this morning you were in the bathroom for a little bit and when I tried to see what was going on, you shooed me away."

Jazzy's cheeks turn red but she quickly answers with "Yeah, everything's fine. Um, I'll see you later, I'm gonna go meet the girls now."

"Oh... Uh, ok--"

Jasmine kisses me quick and yells "Bye, babe, I love you!"

And just like that, she was gone and I was alone.

"It doesn't seem like everything's fine..." I say out loud to myself. I'll figure out what's going on with her. Sooner or later.
