Chapter 12

Jasmine pov

After breakfast, Anthony and I made our way over to the theater. When we went in the stage door, we went upstairs and he walked me to my dressing room. "Don't be nervous, you gonna do amazing" Anthony said to me. I just smiled and gave him a quick peck on the lips. Then, I turned on my heel and went in my dressing room.

I threw on my Peggy dress and makeup because we have a full dress rehearsal before tonight's show. Then, before I knew it, we were all being called down to the stage.

I watched as everyone rushed past me, getting to their spots, but then I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Break a leg, baby." Baby. I shuddered at the word, but was quickly reassured that it was just Anthony when he gave me a kiss on the cheek. "You too" I replied, with a weak smile on my face.

Then it was go time.

time skip to after the dress rehearsal and first show

Anthony pov

Woohoo!! First show complete and nobody screwed up! Everyone did incredible, especially Jasmine. She looked so beautiful, especially in that Maria dress. I've been trying to find her for the past few minutes, but I can't see her on the stage. I'll go check her dressing room.

I make my way past everyone and I finally get to Jasmine's dressing room. "Jazzy..." I say softly. I hear a muffled "Come in" and I do. I look at Jasmine on her couch and she looks distraught.

"Hey, are you alright? You left the after party really quickly and you don't look too good right now. We can skip stage dooring if you want?" "No i'm fine, I just needed to get away for a little. Let's go stage door!" The way Jasmine said it made it sound enthusiastic, but I can tell something's wrong. "Are you sure?" I question, carefully, not wanting to upset her more. "Positive" she answers with a quick peck on my lips. We exit her dressing room hand in hand and meet the rest of the cast by the stage door. The security guard swings it open and we are met with hundreds of screaming fans.

"Let's do this" I hear Lin say.
