Chapter 31

Jazzy pov

As Anthony and I make our way inside, I become more excited with the thought of having a baby.

"Hi, how can I help you?" a woman woman at the front desk asks.

Ant gives me a reassuring nod and smile and I say "Uh, yes, hi. I'm Jasmine Cephas Jones and I'm here to meet with doctor Smith."

The lady clicks a few buttons on her computer and smiles while saying "Yes, you can go right into exam room 3."

Ant and I thank her and make our way to the exam room. I feel butterflies in my stomach and I can't help myself from smiling, something I notice Ant is having trouble with, too.

We shut the door behind us and I climb onto the table just as the doctor walks in.

"Hi, I'm doctor Smith. You must be Jasmine?"

"Yes, and this is my fiancée, Anthony" I say with a smile.

The doctor turns on the ultrasound machine and lifts my shirt up while telling me about the EXTREMELY cold jelly that she was putting on my stomach.

For a lil bit, she was kinda just moving her wand around and I totally thought she was gonna, like, perform a spell. But, just when I was about to ask if everything was ok, the room became loud with a steady thump thump thump thump. I turned towards Anthony with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes saying "That's our baby."
