Chapter 16

Anthony pov

Jasmine and I are getting closer to the theater and I can tell she's getting more nervous.

"Jazzy, calm down. Everyone here loves you, they all support you, and you're gonna be fine. Ok?" Jasmine looks at me and smiles. "Ok."

By now, we're standing in front of the stage door, and I'm about to open the door but I hear Jasmine say "Wait, one more thing..." She pulls me in for a kiss and it lasts about 10 seconds until we hear the cast cheering from their dressing rooms above the stage door. We pull apart, laughing hysterically, and Jasmine says "I love you, Ant." I stare into her beautiful brown eyes and say "I love you too, Jazzy." And with that, we head into the theater.

Jasmine pov

Anthony and I part ways and I head into my dressing room, mentally preparing my self for what's to come.

When I walk in, Pippa and Renee are sitting on the couch, talking about how we have two shows today. They're already in their makeup for the matinee, so I start doing mine.

After a few minutes, Pippa finally says "Jazz, I know that you're still fragile, but I want you to know that we're all here for you and we all love and support you." I turn around and I notice that she's crying. "Pippa, don't cry!" I exclaim and quickly pull her in for a hug. "Yeah, it was horrible what happened, but I know that you guys are here for me. And i've decided to put it in the past, so no worries, ok?" We pull apart and I give Renee a hug as Pippa cleans herself up. "Ok" she finally answers, with a nod and a smile. We notice that it's almost time for places so we turn on Beyoncé and start getting dressed.

Anthony pov

I head into my dressing room that I share with Daveed and Oak and they immediately ask how Jasmine is.

"Guys, she's fine. A little shaken up, but she's decided to put it in the past, so let's not bring it up and upset her, ok?" Both guys nod in agreement and tell me that they're glad she's ok.

"Yeah, she sure looked ok when you guys were sucking each others faces in front of the stage door" Daveed laughs. "Daveed!" I exclaim. "We were not "sucking each others faces," we were kissing." "Very passionately!" Oak adds, laughing hysterically. "Whatever" I mutter, with a smile. I head over to the closet, put on my costume, and walk out of the dressing room just as we're getting the call for places.

I see Jasmine backstage and I give her a quick hug. As we're hugging I whisper, "Break a leg, babe." And she whispers back "You too." Oh man, I love her so much. I finally made this girl mine, now I just need her to be mine forever. What the heck I gotta do for Jazzy to marry me?
