Chapter 6: Together
After the meeting with Jay, I walked back to my room, exhausted. Jay's ideas really made me think. There could be even more people left.
I crawled into bed and fell asleep with no trouble.

"Good morning." Andy greeted as I walked into the dining room for breakfast.
"Morning." I replied with a yawn.
I entered the dining room to find everyone sitting eating a breakfast of pancakes and bacon. I took a seat next to Sam and Matthew. Just about that time, Jay stood up and cleared his throat.
"Good morning everyone. I have big announcement. As you all know, I believe there are many survivors left across the world. It is time we make actions to bring them all together. At 10:00am, I will send a message through the WW Radio. All countries will receive the message and hopefully all the survivors. We will tell them to make their way to New York through their town's Transporter."
As soon as Jay stopped talking, loud conversation immediately sprung up.
"Hey, Hey!" Jay said loudly.
No one quieted.
Sam jumped up.
"HEEEYYY!!!" She screamed.
Everyone shut up.
"Thank you, Sam." Jay said. "I know this is a surprise, but the best way for survival is together. If anyone has a problem come to me personally and we will discuss it but for now let us enjoy our breakfast."

It is February 6, 2026, people have started arriving from all over the world. A brother and sister from India, 8 people from England, and 4 Australians. All of them are friendly, and like me, extremely grateful to know that there are other survivors.
After two weeks, 72 people in all had arrived.
I was sitting in my room when I heard a knock on the door.
"Meeting in the dining room."
I made my way towards the meeting.
Once again, Jay stood up and gathered everyone's attention.
"Welcome, newcomers! Welcome to The Survivors!"
A round of applause.
"I have reason to assume that we are the only people left on this Earth. I do not think there are any more people left. It appears that we have exactly 100 people." Jay said.
Wow. 100 people survived. It had just dawned on me how lucky I am. There are only 100 left. And I am one of them.
