Love Me! If That's What You Do.

You could practically hear my heart pounding out of my chest.

Interviews were always hard with me. Every step I took, the more I felt like I wanted to throw up. I walked through the front doors and heard my name being called. A tall, curly haired, man with glasses walked up to me and gave me a giant bear hug. After we broke apart he finally spoke "Hey! My name is Burnie Burns. You must be Cameron Haynes correct?".

"Yes and it's very nice to meet you Burnie" I smiled. He started heading to a door nodding his head for me to follow. When I walked into the nicely decorated office I seen another man sitting there. This new man has numerous amounts of tattoos along his body, short messy brown hair, and beard. This man stood up from his seat and extended his arm to shake my hand. "Hello my name is Geoff. Geoff Ramsey."

"Cameron. You can call me Cammi".

He gave a smile and then everyone sat down and we started a serious conversation.

'Don't fuck up like you always do. If you really want to get this job you, don't act like yourself. It's annoying.'

I took a deep gulp of air and looked up from my lap. Both men were looking at me with smiles and I felt calm once again. Burnie spoke up after a second of silence. "So Cammi we've been a fan of your twitch streams since the beginning. You kick ass on games, you have a great sense of humor, and you are a very good looking person". My eyebrows went up, surprised. He laughed at my reaction and continued speaking. "What I meant was that people will love you. Trust me."

Geoff then started talking to me. "So we want you for a part of our company called Achievement Hunter. You've heard of it?". "Of course. I've seen some videos and hurt my ribs from laughing so much." I reply making both men look at each other. Burnie brought out a file with papers in it and dropped it on the desk.

"So we got some signing to do".

Half hour later

Everyone stood up and started shaking hands.

I got the job. I'm gonna be working with Geoff and five other guys on a daily. They're giving me a desk with all the consoles I would need. It's gonna feel nice to be needed in at a certain time everyday with hopefully very friendly faces.

I grabbed my bag, making sure my phone and keys were in there. Burnie opened the door of his office and as I step into the hallway, I see a man squawking passing by, almost hitting me. My eyebrows raise and my mouth opens. "Is this normal?" I asked Geoff. He opens his mouth and then I hear someone's yell increase. As I turn my head I see a man running towards me and take me down to the ground.

Before I actually hit the ground, an arm is wrapped around me, preventing me from hitting my head. I opened my eyes and see a pretty cute guy with blue-gray color eyes, light brown hair, and a beard. We stare at each other before he set me down on the ground to get himself up. He gave out his hand to lift me back up to my feet. He wouldn't stop starring and Geoff made a joke about it. "Ey Ry stop making heart eyes and make out with her already."

The man gave Geoff an evil look for a quick second and then focused back on me. "I'm Ryan. Sorry for kinda bulldozing you. The kid who was screaming like hawk messed with my computer so I decided to chase him". That comparison made me laugh. "Well I'm Cameron. Call me Cammi". His facial expression lit up and then raised his eyebrow. "Cameron? Like the boys name?" he asked and I rolled my eyes. Everyone always has to ask that.

"Yup. I guess my parents were really hoping for a boy but got the opposite." now everyone was laughing.

  I see him on the staircase, walking down and ending up right behind me.  

'They are laughing at how stupid you are. Of course your parents wanted a boy. You would've been a different, and probably better, person.' 

My head dips down and I feel the tears begin. I excuse myself to the ladies bathroom and lock the door. I let my emotions out and my cheeks slowly become wet. I splashed some water on my face and tried to repair my makeup. I heard a knock at thee door and a voice that sounded like Ryan. "Cammi you okay? You've been in there for a while." his voice laced with concern. I gave off a sniffle and my voice croaked "I'm fine. It's okay".

He tried to open the door but failed since I locked it. "You don't sound okay. Please let me in" he pleaded. I don't want to explain this. "Ryan I'm fine . Please leave me alone". I was a little too harsh. I heard foot steps walk away. Thank god. I mean I appreciate his concern but I don't want it right now. I gave myself a glance in the mirror and walked out.

I met back up with Geoff who was playing a game on his phone. "Hey sorry I'm back."

"That is just fine. Common. Why don't I show you were you're gonna be working?". Geoff started heading down a few halls, turning left and right, even going outside and walking across a huge parking lot. We entered another building and walk up to a door with a creeper on it. He opened the door and I see a massive number of desks, monitors, and consoles. There was a blonde lady and a few interesting men, including Ryan. Crap this is gonna be awkward.

Geoff cleared his throat, getting everyone's attention. "So ya assholes we have a person joining our crew. Everyone this is Cammi. Cammi this is everyone. And Ryan, who you already know."

One by one people started saying hello and introducing themselves. After a few long conversations with all the guys, I've learned all the names of the guys who I'll be working with.

Geoff, Jack, Michael, Lindsay, Jeremy, Gavin, and of course Ryan.
