"Emily! Emily, come on please wake up!" I heard some one yelling. I could hear the worry in his voice. I started to open my eyes and looked to see who it was. "Mike?" I asked. I saw a smile appear. "Here come on let's go in the living room and talk." Mike said as he picked Emily up. He sat her on the couch. Then Mike and some boy sat down on the coffee table, they both just looked at me. "What happened?" Mike asked with the look of concern on his. I started to bite my lip. What am I supposed to say I have been freezing thing and my eye color is changing. yeah right! "The rug slipped out from under me. That's all I remember. Who is this?" I asked my brother giving the boy a quick look. "Oh, right. This is Kyle he is a friend of mine. Kyle this is Emily my little sister." Mike said introducing them. "Hi." Kyle said. I looked him up and down and said "Hi." Mike looked at me and said "Also why in the world is the heat up so high? I mean it feels like the Sahara desert in here." I started to laugh nervously. "I-I got really cold. I mean it's still cold in here." Emily said. Mike just looked at her as though she was crazy. Mike got up and touched her head. "Holy crap! You feel like and icicle." Mike said taking his hand away from my forehead fast. "Yeah so I Should go get some sleep. I mean I am sick." Emily said starting to bite my bottom lip. "Yeah, is that why you weren't at school?" Mike asked me. "Yes." I said getting up from the couch. I stated to walk to my room when half way there my knees started to buckle. I almost fell to the floor when warm hands grabbed me. It was Kyle. "You okay?" he asked me. I looked at his eyes. He has warm brown eyes or so I thought they turned a warm orange. I pulled away quickly. "Yeah I am fine, thanks." I said. I went into my room just to climb down the fire escape. I had to get out, I just had to. I walked around the city. I just kept running everything that happened today through my head. It all seemed like a nightmare. Then some man grabbed me and pulled me into an alley. "Give me everything you have with you!" the man yelled as he pulled out a gun. "haha! That's funny considering that I don't have anything." I said. "So you think this is funny? Well it's not!" The man pushed me into the wall causing me to hit my head again. I saw total darkness and felt the cold breeze of a spring night.
