When Ice Falls for Fire

Prologue

In 1642 there was a man and a women who loves each other. The man, Christophe Johnson, was to be wed to another woman. The women, Meredith Rose, whom loved Christophe was also to be wed to someone else. They couldn't stand to away from each other. It was decided they would run away with each other. They would meet at the port and sail away in the sunset together but things didn't go as planed. They each reached the port and they boarded the ship. When a puff a smoke appeared out of no where. "Get behind me." Christophe told Meredith. She slowly moved behind him. The puff of smoke had formed into a figure of a women. "Who are you? What are you?" Christophe asked the women. 

"Me? I am the one you should fear. I am the one who controls what shall happen the future of your families. I am the guarding witch." the women said.

"Guarding witch? What do you guard?" Meredith asked.

"I guard and control what shall happen to the families I am assigned to. Now you both must go back to the ones you are meant to wed, if you don't go willingly I shall use force" The witch said.

"No, we will not leave each other. Why do you have the right to tell us what we need to do?" Christophe asked getting more frustrated as every minute passed.

"I get the right because I was chosen to, now go and wed the ones you are to!" the witch yelled. Meredith and Christophe just stood there, unmoving. "Fine you want to me to use force, then I shall." the witch said. In that moment there was blinding green smoke every where. The next thing either one of them new they were in beds, with the people they were to wed. Not only were they now married Meredith was now pregnant and so was Christophe's wife was pregnant as well. Both of them had found a note it said, " You should have listened to me. Since I had to use forced I made sure that things would go according to plane. Meaning I sped things up a bit also causing a curse that will happen years from now. Oh and congratulations both of you."
