I got to the apartment and I wasn't feeling good. My heart hurt. I fell to the ground holding it. I was gasping for air. What was happening to me? The pain went away after an hour. I stood up and I swayed. I felt dizzy. I saw blackness that then turned gray. What is going on? My apartment was like a Popsicle. I ran to my room and open a window. There was white glistening snow every where. Emily! I ran out the door and stair to her apartment. When I got there I found Mike frozen solid and Emily laying on the floor next to him. I ran over to her. I picked her head up and cradled her head. I put her in my lap and just rocked. "Emily! Emily!" I yelled. I started to feel burning in the back of my eyes. That's when a tears started to roll down my cheeks. "Come on! Open your eyes! Please!" I screamed. I rocked harder. My skin grew warmer. My skin began to burn. I burst into flames. I let go of Emily right away before I could hurt her. the ice slowly melted off the walls. The room temperature started to rise. I tried to calm myself but I couldn't get a grip. I ran for the shower. I turned in the water on cold. I got in with my clothes on and just sat there. The water falling down on me. I could hear the sizzle of my skin as the water hit it. I slowly breathed in and out. Trying to calm myself down. My mind kept thinking though. The pain that I felt. Could it be what she felt? The heart pain I felt. Could it be from her broken heart. I mean it makes sense. It would explain the blackness I say and why I got dizzy. I got out of the tub when I had calmed down. I went back into Emily's room and put her back into my lap again. "Come on Emily. Come on. I need you. I know what I said before but I do. So please come back, please." I said. I don't know if she can hear me but at this moment I don't care. All I care about it her waking up in my arms right now. She moved her head which made me smile. Her eyes fluttered open. She smiled at me. I smiled back like a big idiot. "Hey." she said. "Hey." I said back. She got up and looked around and say Mike. "No! I forgot! God how am I going to fix this!" she said starting to freak out making the room freeze all over again. "Calm down we will figure this out together." I said taking holed of her hands. She pulled back and said "No! This is your fault! Get out!" I stumbled back from the blow of her words. I never realize how much words could hurt until now. "I said get out!" she screamed at me. The door froze into a sheet of ice, gusts of freezing winds were blowing. it started to snow like a blizzard in her room. She fell to her knees and started to cry. I walked over to her. She looked up at me and said "I am sorry. This isn't your fault. This is all mine. I did this to my brother. I did this to the apartment. You didn't do any of this." I shook y head at her and said "This is my fault too. I drove you to this sadness. I know now that we belong together. We are one. You hurt I feel the hurt to. That's how I knew to come here. I felt it, all of it." She looked at me and smiled. She threw her arms around me and pressed her soft cold lips against mine. I could feel the heat mixing with the cold air that surrounded us. I got up and out my hand on frozen Mike. I started to though him out slowly. Mike stood there a man instead of a Popsicle. He backed up. You could see the fear in his eyes. "Mike!" Emily yelled as she ran toward her brother. He took a step back. "Mike? What's wrong?" she asked. She had sadness in her voice. "What are you guys?" Mike asked. He was breathing heavily. Now I know for sure that he was scared of us. "Emily." I said taking hold of her arm pulling her back next to me. "I am your sister." she said tearing up. "My sister couldn't do that." Mike said. "Emily, come on let's go." I said pulling her back with me. "Mike!" she screamed. Mike just turned around and walked out the door.
