I woke up the sound of pans crashing on the floor. I looked over and saw that Emily was gone. I got up and went into the kitchen to find Emily trying to cook. I leaned up against the wall and just smiled at her. Man is she beautiful I thought. "Everything I try to cook just freezes over!" she yelled. I walked over to her and took the pans out of her hands. I set them on the counter and said "It is sweet of you to think of but we can just grab something on the way to your place. Okay?" She looked up at me and nodded. We left my apartment and grabbed something to eat.
When we got to her apartment, Mike was on the couch. He looked horrible, like he hadn't slept. His eyes were all puffy and they had bags under them. Emily walked over to him and touched his arm. Mike jumped a little. "Mike, it's me Emily. Your sister." she said. He turned and looked at her. He ran his fingers through her hair. "I know. I sorry about how I reacted yesterday. It was wrong of me." he said. Emily smiled at him and said "No, it is okay. I mean it was a shock. I would have reacted the same way if the situation was reversed." Mike laughed and nodded. He got up and walked toward me. "I am sorry. You are obviously good for my sister and it would be wrong for me to keep you guys apart so do what ever. You guys can move in together or whatever. I trust you after last night. Thanks also." Mike said putting his hand. I took his hand and nodded. "Well I have got to go, gonna be late for work." Mike said. We both told him goodbye and he left. Emily came over to me and said "Well, looks like we get to be together. What do you want to do?" I looked at her with a smile on my face and it was a devious one at that. "Let's just watch a movie and chill out. It would be nice after everything.
