When Ice Falls for Fire

Kyle pov

I sat in the cold tub with cold water run all over me. I calmed down and got out . I got dressed and looked at the fogged up mirror. I didn't want to wipe the steam. I didn't want to see what else might have changed but I needed to see. I swiped the mirror quickly and looked normal. I heard a knock on the door. I went to open the door to find Mike standing in the doorway. "Hey man your not busy right?" Mike asked Kyle. "No, I'm not. why?" Kyle asked. "Well my sister is at school so thought you would want to play Call of Duty or something. Dude why is it so cold in here?" Mike said looking around. "Is it? I hadn't realized." Kyle said as he grabbed a sweat shirt and headed out the door with Mike. Mike and I walked to his apartment and every time we passes a window I would look to see if my eyes were normal. when we arrived at his apartment and he opened the door a heat wave hit us. "Wow, do you got the heat up high enough?" Kyle said laughing. Mike looked at him with anger on his face. "This is not funny. I didn't turn it up." Mike said. They went in and walked around. There was a tea cup sitting on the table. "Someone has been here." Kyle said. Mike gave him a look like no duh dummy. "I'm gonna look in my room and you can go look in the bathroom. Okay?" Mike asked. Kyle nodded and walked to the bathroom. he opened the door. when he opened it steam just poured out of the bathroom. Kyle looked around and saw a girl on the floor. "um, Mike I think that you should see this!" Kyle yelled to Mike. Mike came running in. Mike got down on the floor and looked at her. He started to shake her saying "Emily! Emily! Wake up!"
