I was awaken by the sound of someone knocking in on the door. I got up, unwillingly and shuffled to the door. I looked through the peep hole to see who it was. I open the door, it was Kyle. "Mike isn't here." I said to him with my raspy morning voice. "I know. He is at work. I am actually here for you." Kyle said looking at me. I turned to him and said "Really? Why is that exactly?" I gave him a devious smile. He started to walk around the apartment, touching everything. "I don't know, I guess that I-I um kinda like you. I guess you can say." I could tell by how his shoulders were all tight he was nervous. I could also tell by the tone in his voice. It was cute. "Really? Well that's good would you like some coffee?" I asked. I am sure I was smiling like an idiot. "Yeah, I would like a cup. I like it black." He said still walking around the apartment. I grabbed the cups and looked down to make sure I wasn't spilling any, when I noticed that I had frozen the coffee. "Never-mind the coffee maker is broken." His eyes still looking at me with sympathy. "Oh, how?" he asked. "

"They were leaving for a business trip and the plane exploded. I was twelve

when it happened. Mike was eighteen so he has been taking care of me ever since." I told him. I blinked back my tears. "I am sorry. I sorta know how it feels. I lost my dad in a boating accident when I was six." he said still looking me in the eyes. "Wow, I am so sorry." I said hoping I didn't have the look of sympathy in my eyes. A smile slowly started to cross his face. "Your hair." he said with a worry in his voice. "what about it?" I asked hearing it shake. I didn't wait for an answer, I just darted for the bathroom and shut the door and locked it. I turned and looked in the mirror. He was right my hair, it was changing. It was starting to change white...
