Bravestar stood on the low hanging branch where he addressed his Clan of warriors. Calling a meeting, he saw Nettlepoppy eagerly shoot up and bound forward with Feathertuft behind. They had escorted Bluejay, Fallentooth, and aided her and getting her kits safely back to WolfClan's territory.
"Cats of TimberClan, I have a great thing I must do tonight. Perigrine, please come with your kits." He meowed. The bushy furred she-cat and her three kits around her paws came toward the branch.
"I know I may never feel right in a place such as a Clan, but I care for my kits more than my own life. I will lay my life for them." She told him, but Bravestar felt like even though her eyes were on him, her voice was clear enough for the Clan to notice her fierce motherly devotion to her three kits. "I am giving your kits their Clan kit names." He meowed. Peregrine's eyes brightened.
"Little Cloverbit, please come." He meowed to the gray she-kit who was already eagerly running forward at the mention of her name. "From this moment on, until your receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Eaglekit."
"Eaglekit. I like it!" She squeaked. Her sister, Thorgeirr, padded up next. "You shall be known as Tigerkit." Bravestar told her as she jumped up and down. Lastly, Quill padded forward, his mottled and brown pelt pricking. "From this moment on, you shall be known as Sprucekit."
"Eaglekit, Tigerkit, Sprucekit!" The cats of TimberClan cheered. The three kits bounced with endless energy. Peregrine purred happily.

Leopardheart was leading a border patrol. She stiffened as she caught a scent. "A cat has hunted here." Her voice was at a hiss.
"Do you think it was ScarClan?" Nightdusk asked her.
"Would a ScarClan cat leave this?" Leopardheart nosed away part of a bush that had a half eaten squirrel with flies.
"Yuck!" Kinkstem meowed curling her lip. "What kind of cat doesn't pick up after what they eat?"
"A rogue.." Crouchfoot snarled. As he said this, Blackthorn tensed. Leopardheart looked in his direction. "Do you have any sort of idea?" She asked him.
Blackthorn pressed his nose to the ground. "Upen.." He growled. Poolhawk blinked. "Who?" She asked. "One of my so called friends like Russel.." He replied although not looking at her, his gaze on the half eaten squirrel. Nettlepoppy curled her lip.
Crouchfoot flexed his claws. "Let some mangey rogue steal prey from us!" He sneered.
Heatherfur rested her tail on his shoulder to calm him down. "Maybe if he knows them, he could tell them to move off." She pointed out to Leopardheart spiritedly.
"Or claw them in their rear so they really get the point." Mallowtail put in, baring her fangs, her brown and white pelt spiking along her back. The she-cat was right. There was no way that they'd let themselves be frightened by rogues. If Blackthorn knew them as well as he said, maybe he could tell them to stop. They would need to report this to Bravestar.

The following day, the TimberClan cats were enjoying the feel of the sun on their coats. Nettlepoppy was playing with the kits.
Flintnose was grooming himself. While Raccoonkit and Flowerkit were trying to see who could pounce on each other the hardest.
"Please be careful kits." Nettlepoppy called.
"We will!" Flowekit squeaked. Nettlepoppy purred. Marrigoldrunner was worrying.
Feathertuft padded up to her. "Oh! Greetings Feathertuft." She meowed.
"Are you okay?" She asked the queen. "What if those ruffians come near my kits?" She fretted, her eyes huge. "Then I wouldn't be able to protect them.."
"Oh dear. If they do come we will protect them. And you will protect them." The tortoiseshell she-cat vowed. A couple cats were dozing. "It'll be alright." Feathertuft soothed.
Suddenly, Nightdusk bounded in. "Rogue! Enemies! Heading for the camp!" She yowled.
