Warriors Super Edition: TimberClan's Mark

Chapter 30

"All cats old enough to climb, gather beneath for a Clan meeting." Bravestar meowed. The TimberClan cats gathered beneath the Low Branch.
"I have news to share with you today. Tem, Tessa, and Rostra have proven themselves that they can be warriors after they accompanied a patrol to look for Stonewhisker. It is by the powers of StarClan I give them their warrior names." He announced.
Tem's eyes brightened. Rostra and Tessa beamed.
"Tem, from this moment on, you will be known as Vinewhisper. StarClan honors your courage and skill. Tessa, from this moment on, you will be known as Shystep. StarClan honors your grace and strength. Rostra, from this moment on, you shall be known as Fallowjaw. StarClan honors your cleverness and spirit." All three of the warriors touched their noses to his shoulder.
"Vinewhisper! Shystep! Fallowjaw!" The TimberClan cats cheered.
"That is the end of our meeting. You may return to your dens." He told them. As he watched his cats depart, he noticed his daughter, Hollowkit, appearing out of the medicine cat log beside Barkpelt and Crouchfoot who had a scratch along his back just stopping at his shoulder. Bravestar padded up to them. "What happened?" He asked. "Fought off a baby raccoon." The black and white warrior replied as he padded away. Barkpelt cleared his throat. "Bravestar, about Hollowkit's ability. She wants to be my apprentice. And I believe she should." He meowed.
Hollowkit smiled pleadingly at her father. "Of course." He purred.
Hollowkit bounced up and down with glee. Bravestar gave a delighted purr. His daughter was going to be a medicine cat.

The following day, the TimberClan leader accompanied a patrol. Stonewhisker was looking around. Vinewhisper bristled slightly. A loud bark was heard. Leopardheart flicked her tail. "Dog. And it smells and sounds close." She mewed.
Eaglespring curled her lip. "I say we drive it off!" She hissed, raising her head proudly. Bravestar curled his tail. The big black dog padded around on might paws. Floppy ears on the side of its head. As soon as it saw the TimberClan cats, it growled and bark. Bravestar and Leopardheart flung themselves at the beast heading their way. Blood roared in the leader's ears as he felt no fear, hearing his warriors fall in behind him with yowls that seemed to be saying:"We will beat you! We will win!"
"We will taste victory TimberClan!" Bravestar yowled as he clawed the dog.
Eaglespring's claws raked its face.
Stonewhisker and Fallowjaw hissed and cursed it, though their words unrecognizable by the dog's obnoxious barking in his ears.
The dog whimpered and ran away, the forest echoing with high pitched yipping. "We did it!" Racoontooth yowled in triumph.
The TimberClan cats raised their heads and joined their leader and deputy in caterwauling their victory.
