As I skate across this rink
It makes me hard to think
these negative feelings, clouding my mind
knowing I'm all alone,
what's the point?
Of continuing on this road
Multiple jumps I've already failed
I know I'll never be as great as my idol
But knowing that he's right here, right in front
surrounded by thousands of people willing to support
It gives me hope
and an abstract feeling I'm curious to know
With my stomach searching for some pork cutlet bowl
As I skate on this ice
I won't give up, someday I will rise.
