Creatures Of The Night

Chapter 9

"You shouldn't have done that Macy" Alex suggested outside of Aureole place. The alleyway was dark and the only light that was provided was a lamp post nearby and the nearly full moon. "I don't care" I ruffed. "I know you don't but this puts our whole schedule behind" Alex said. I ignored him and looked around. Again, like before there was this feeling that something wasn't right. I just wanted to get them to them to the car and me hoping on Nini. "So where did you park the car" I asked Jade folding my arms together because of the freezing breeze. "Not far from here, it's just over here" Jade replied.

I nodded my head. Damn I don't know why but I just have this really bad feeling in the pit of stomach. I don't know it's like some- "Hey this is strange" Jade says.

"What" Amy asked? "The car I parked it right here but it's gone" Jade replied "Are you sure you parked it here" Brian questioned. "Yeah I remember the lamp post. It couldn't just have driven off where is it" Jade said. I ignored their conversation and looked at the buildings around us. I looked at the roof tops but found nothing. I just have this really bad feeling that someone or something is following us. "Macy" I heard Alex say snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked over at him to find that he looked confused. Then I look behind him to see something quickly slip into the shadows. "Macy" I heard Alex shout. I looked back at him to see him turn and look behind himself.

"Quick everybody stands back to back in a circle" Alex ordered. There were no whys of what's. I quickly move towards Amy and putting my shoulder next to hers turned around. Alex came next to me doing the same thing. Jade was next to Amy and Brian and on the other side of Brian was Alex. We were in a similar position when we were doing the protection spell however this time we definitely need protection. "What's wrong" Amy whispered. "Something is following us" Alex replied. "Who is following us" Jade asked. "I don't know however I don't think you should say who more of what's following us" Alex replied. "Wait you don't think it's a creature of the night" Amy said sounding panicked. "I don't know" Alex replied hopelessly.

A creature of the night, if that is what's following us then we are in trouble. I remembered of all the rumors I've heard about them. How the creatures of the night kill anything that is living that ever crosses its path. I've even heard how they eat anything living and just leave a splash of blood behind only. They even eat the bones. "If you even think a shadow moved or anything then tells us" Alex informed. Everyone agreed and I watch carefully the place in front of me. Suddenly I see something past through two buildings really fast in a split second. Well whatever it was it definitely didn't look human. "Alex" I said slowly. I couldn't say anything more because suddenly I heard Amy wailed "I saw something. It was the creature of the night I know it"

"Amy calm down" Alex said slowly. "How can I calm down with that thing out there" Amy cried. "Amy, just calm down" Alex repeated. I looked behind me just in time to see Amy turn around her eyes full of terror. "I can't it's out there" Amy shouted. Brian turned around from his place an annoying look in his eyes "Amy just be quiet and do what Alex says" Brain said to her. "No Brian, you've never seen one of them. You don't know how horrible it is. I almost died that night you left me" Amy wailed. "Amy" Jade said before moving out of her place. "Everyone gets back in a circle your leaving us wide open" Alex ordered. "No Alex we are going to die" screamed Amy. "No, we are not your acting like a hysterical old lady" Jade argued.

I looked at Amy to see tears in her eyes. Her skin was really pale. She was petrified. I've never seen someone who was so scared before. "Amy" I said turning around "its ok everything is fine just go back to where you were before" I advised calmly. "No" Amy whispered "It's...we are going to die" "No we are going back to our originals position and do what Alex says" Jade tells Amy. "No" Amy whispered. Then at once everyone was talking and fighting trying to get Amy to calm down only she was getting more hyped up. "Stop" I screamed because I couldn't take the noise. Everyone was now silent. "It's going to be ok Amy, nothing is go-" I never got to finish that sentence.
